This AVP will reduce revenue leakage, improve compliance, and standardize practices across the system, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with financial and quality goals. provides strategic, operational, and transformational leadership for key functions impacting clinical documentation, coding, charge capture, compliance, and reimbursement across the health system. Areas of oversight include hospital and professional billing coding, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), revenue integrity, health information management (HIM), charge description master (CDM) governance, denial prevention and appeals, provider education, and research billing compliance. This leader ensures accurate and compliant documentation practices, optimized reimbursement, and alignment across clinical, financial, and compliance domains. The AVP plays a critical role in digital transformation and enterprise integration of middle revenue cycle functions in support of system financial performance and regulatory excellence.

Required Job Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required
•Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership in healthcare revenue cycle, with direct oversight of coding, CDI, revenue integrity, and HIM functions
•Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, CDI best practices, regulatory standards, and charge master governance
•Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex enterprise initiatives
•Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
•Experience with Epic and enterprise health information systems
