Summary:
This position serves as a facilitator for departmental and/or organizational training, assisting in the assessment, development and delivery of associated training materials and curriculum. The employee will facilitate training programs, performing assorted administrative or operational functions such as assisting in the research and development of multi-media training materials for individual, departmental, and organizational-wide presentation and maintaining the training calendar and database. Works with intermittent supervision and review; work problems involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures will be presented to the Management for review and direction on resolution. •Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Educational Methods, Communications, Healthcare Administration or related field or 5+ years of related experience in progressive roles.
•Three (3) years’ training, teaching, or business coaching experience.
•Three (3) years’ experience working with EPIC Cadence in a practice or Access Center environment.
•Experience within a large hospital or integrated healthcare delivery system
•Unique combinations of both hard and soft skills in order to prepare, analyze, and present data to various audiences.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.

Responsibilities:
1.Possesses a broad spectrum of knowledge encompassing multiple workflows and procedures across various specialties and departments.
2.Delivers new hire training in scheduling, registration, epic, revenue cycles, including the use of telephony platform, CRM, webchat, and other applications.
3.Designs and maintains training materials, including knowledge articles, guides, presentations, and exercises.
4.Develop tutorials that guide end-users through the usage of diverse applications, simplifying complex tasks. Generate high-quality documentation tailored to different user groups, ensuring information is clear and effective.
5.Act as a point of contact for knowledge-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees seeking information or resources.
6.Analyze existing source content and transform it into well-structured step-by-step instructions and user-friendly documentation.
7.Conduct reviews and updates of existing documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency, and make revisions as needed. Continually enhancing training materials, methodologies, and content, keeping them aligned with evolving industry standards and technological advancements.
8.Collaborates with management teams to identify associate training needs and incorporate them into one-time or ongoing training programs.
9.Acts as a coach and mentor, providing guidance and support to team members, while actively participating in the training of Level 1 personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities.
10.Develops and refines departmental quality monitoring standards and guidelines, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
11.Conducts audits and identifies themes and trends in the root cause of errors to facilitate proactive problem-solving and process improvement efforts.
12.Document operational improvement opportunities and learner questions during training. Follow up with leaders to summarize training content and skill levels demonstrated.
13.Assists in project leadership, contributing to scoping, planning, execution, and closure phases, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Minimizes the potential financial risk of patients accounts by discussing with the patient and/or guarantor their financial responsibility for upcoming visits/procedures, past due balances and referral requirements. Offers options and negotiates acceptable resolution of estimated patient balance.
8.Receives and properly responds to, or directs telephone inquiries from patients, payers, physicians and their staff, internal department and other persons and entities.

•Performs required quality control (QC) procedures and preventative maintenance, including corrective action and documentation, for all procedures and instrumentation. Recognizes QC problems or discrepancies and attempts to determine the cause of the problem. Notifies the appropriate supervisor or designee regarding QC problems or discrepancies according to the established procedure.
•Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment and processes with minimal assistance, documents action, and notifies appropriate personnel, for example, supervisors, of problems all the time. Able to recognize when additional help is needed and seek out that help.
•Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Disinfect the area at the beginning and end of each shift.
•Accepts no inappropriate specimens. Notifies the appropriate person of specimens that must be drawn or collected again and documents the notification
•Meets turnaround time expectations by prioritizing and organizing the workload for the shift. Monitors the pending list periodically to ensure turnaround time of all samples.
•Utilizes time effectively and seeks out additional job duties when shift tasks are complete. Completes work without incurring overtime. Assists fellow workers to finish shift tasks. Adheres to the defined allotted time for breaks and lunch.
•Required to obtain and document 12 hours of laboratory continuing education per year.
•Accepts and/or volunteers for method evaluations and new procedure development or other special projects and completes them within an agreed upon time frame. Participates in procedure implementation and training of new staff and students. Encouraged to identify and participate in process improvement projects.
•May perform the duties of the tech-in-charge for specified periods. Oversees operations according to departmental guidelines. Understands when to defer issues to appropriate personnel, for example, a supervisor or director, and does so.
•Reviews lab results as required and takes appropriate action before verification and release. Recognizes and calls critical results within defined time frames. Reviews paper-generated results and transcribes them accurately into the Lab Information.Additional Job Components
