*Location: *Chicago, IL *Hospital: *RUSH University Medical Center *Department: *Internal Medicine - Epidemiology *Work Type: *Full Time *Shift:* Shift 1 *Work Schedule: *8 Hr SUMMARY: *Epidemiology - Research Faculty* *Rush University Medical Center* *Chicago, IL* *Rush University Medical Center, *a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for faculty positions as *assistant professor in The Rush Institute for Health Aging. * The successful candidate will contribute to an expanding and vibrant research portfolio at the Institute around community epidemiology. Areas of interest include Alzheimer’s disease monitoring and trends, racial disparities, life-course risk factors, neuroimaging and blood biomarkers, nutrition, neuropsychology, physical activity, healthy aging, genetics, and multigenerational studies. The successful candidates will facilitate ongoing research projects in large multigenerational epidemiologic studies. They will be expected to establish independent research careers. Research experience and relevant publications highly desired. Candidates should preferably hold a doctoral degree in epidemiology, psychology, gerontology, or medicine.
