The Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency Program seeks full-time and part-time family medicine faculty members to join our unopposed (4-4-4), fully accredited ACGME family medicine program affiliated with Rush University.
Our program is housed at Rush Copley Medical Center, a 210-bed community hospital located in Aurora, Illinois.
Our Family Medicine Center emphasizes education and team-based care in partnership with our patients.
Our learners are diverse in experience and background. We teach residents, medical students, PA students, and pre-professional students.
Position details:
We're looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal, teaching, and inpatient/outpatient skills.
Faculty inpatient call averages one week every 4.5 weeks with the residents.
Candidate will provide direct supervision and instruction to residents in the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings. They will develop and deliver didactic lectures and procedural training to the residents, aligned with ACGME competencies. They will also participate in curriculum development, quality improvement, scholarly activity, and residency program administration.
Candidates will provide mentorship and support to residents, and promote an environment conducive to learning, growth, and professional development.
Candidates will have the opportunity to join the faculty of the Rush University Department of Family and Preventative Medicine.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have hospital privileges within the past 2 years or currently in residency training
Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license
ABFM or AOBFP Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine
Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program
Prior experience teaching is preferred
Previous academic experience and Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that maybe applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $245,000 - $320,000
