Summary:

The RN 2 is a competent nurse who has mastered technical skills. The RN 2 identifies patterns of patient responses and can use past experiences to implement solutions for current situations. Required Job Qualifications:

 1.Minimum of 9 months of experience in nursing

 2.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN). 

3.Within 1 year from the date of hire, employee must be enrolled in a BSN program.

 4.RNs hired prior to 10/22/2020 are grandfathered in with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or diploma in nursing, with no further need to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BAN or BSN). 

5.Chief Nursing Officer must provide approval for any RNs with ADN degree hired after 10/22/2020, based upon unit need. ADN RNs hired after 10/22/2020 must show continued enrolment towards a BSN degree with a signature of contract stipulating a BSN degree must be completed within 3 years of hire. ADN RNS are not eligible for leveling to RN3. 

6. Prior to leveling to RN2, RN must show consistent proficient performance at RN1 position or equivalent experience. 

7. Current state of Illinois Registered Nursing License 

8. CPR 

9. ACLS for ICU, Telemetry, Med/Surg (6west), Endoscopy, PACU, IR, and ED required within 3 months of hire 

10. PALS PACU and ED required within 3 months of hire

  • Distributes surgical supplies to designated locations, inclusive of Q-Sight cabinets, Par Excellence locations, support rooms, sterile areas, and all appropriate areas within the Operating Room.
  • Conducts inventory of Q-Sight & Par Excellence areas (including cycle count audits, monitoring expiring/at-risk inventory, and working through outstanding orders – providing substitute options when necessary). Restocks and returns unused product to assigned locations.
  • Accountable for Q-Sight implant ordering, surgical device ordering and generating Q-Sight inventory management reports (implant/consignment serial number tracking, transactional data).
  • Maintains audit schedule and reconfigures any assigned locations (par level adjustments and removals/additions of product)

  • Receives, unpacks, and delivers supplies ordered from vendors. Reviews and verifies accuracy of shipments by counting and comparing packing lists with all receiving/delivery tickets for accuracy of receipt.

Required Job Qualifications:

In this high-impact role, you will partner with stakeholders across the organization to design and deliver sophisticated dashboards, reports, and analytics that directly influence clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

As part of the Knowledge Management team within Digital Transformation, you’ll work at the intersection of business and technology—translating complex data into meaningful insights that support over 20 strategic initiatives and a multi-million-dollar portfolio. Your work will help drive measurable outcomes, including supporting initiatives projected to deliver significant ROI over the next several years.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather business & data requirements from stakeholders.
  • Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
  • Captures, develops, and documents data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
  • Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Identifies and defines both process and data improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.
  • Produces reports and analytics that facilitate evidence-based clinical, financial, and operational decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science or related field.
  • At least Five (5) years of data analysis, query design, and reporting experience.
  • Experience with reporting solutions using Power BI, MS SQL Server, Azure, Advanced Analytics
  • Experience with reports, dashboards, scorecards using Power BI and MDX in a data warehousing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and using relational databases.
  • Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
  • Good visual aesthetic sense relative to report development and presentation to the user.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and customer facing skills
  • Must have a strong customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience developing sophisticated reports against complex data sets.
  • Ability to read other’s SQL queries and make changes/updates as necessary
  • Experience with diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports.
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in data ingestion, quality cleanup, and multi source data integration to support analytics and reporting.
  • Familiarity with emerging healthcare delivery models and key performance indicators related to subscriptions, application usage, and system throughput.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year of reporting experience utilizing Epic Clarity and Caboodle applications.
