Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician 1 assists licensed pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy performing duties such as preparing, filling, and labeling medications for patients in the Medical Center. As patient care assignments dictate, the technician I is responsive to the explicit need of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. When relevant, appropriate standards of practice and sensitivity to the psychosocial needs of these patient populations are exercised. • High school diploma/GED required.
• Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required and/or EXCPT
• Individuals licensed BEFORE January 1, 2008 are grandfathered; they are not required to become nationally certified or hold the "Certified" designation to continue working as a registered pharmacy technician in Illinois.
• Completion of an ACPE/ASHP accredited pharmacy technician training program if licensed on or after January 1, 2024.

• Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the ""core"" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Preferred Qualifications:

• This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.

Responsibilities:
• Active participation in the Pharmacy Department Technician Career Ladder.
• Recognizes and identifies various classifications of medications, medication names, dosage forms, and routes of administration.
• Uses available print and online references as appropriate.
• Understands the pharmacy workflow for first doses, Pyxis refills, cart fill and batches.
• Understands the pharmacy workflow for medication returns and medication disposal.
• Responsible for the accurate interpretation of EPIC pharmacy labels.
• Interpretation and understanding of medical abbreviations.
• Identification and differentiation of different types of medication orders (Scheduled, PRN, Once, STAT, NOW).

• Responsible for answering phones, assisting caller with missing medication requests, and any other technical duties as assigned.
• Responsible for utilization of Epic for technical requests (i.e.: missing medications, Pyxis out of stock, and responding to in-basket messages).
• Responsible for inventory, storage, and supply maintenance of assigned areas.
• Responsible for exchanging emergency carts and completion of required documentation.
• Responsible for knowing the laws and regulations related to controlled substances.
• Maintains cleanliness of all equipment and work areas.
• Knowledge of departmental and Medical Center safety practices.
• Awareness of departmental quality assurance processes.
• Actively participates in various departmental committees and educational activities as assigned.

Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator and Supervising Statistician for the Rush Interdisciplinary Consortium for Critical Care Trials and Data Science (RICCC), the Statistician 1 independently performs statistical analyses of critical care and ICU datasets, including CLIF (Common Longitudinal ICU Data Format, www.clif-icu.com), Epic Cosmos data, and multi-center clinical trial data. Develops and implements complex analytical programs to support epidemiological studies of critical illness and clinical trials. Provides quantitative and analytical support to multiple research projects within RICCC. 

Summary:

Under the direction of the Supervising Statistician or Statistician Manager, the Statistician 1 writes and runs computer programs to summarize and perform statistical analyses on data concerning topics in the biomedical sciences, preparing reports to summarize those results. •Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or closely related field.

Summary:
The Pharmacist may fill the role of a number of different positions in the department. The Pharmacist may work in central operations, or in a satellite. He/she may work a day, evening, or overnight shifts. The shift the Pharmacist works will reflect the training and skill set that the pharmacist has. Operations role: The scope shall include operational responsibility for order verification, IV therapy, total parenteral nutrition, automated dispensing cabinets (ADC), oral drug compounding/repackaging, dispensing and delivery of medications. Assessment of current IV clean rooms with USP 797 regulations including necessary staff education will also be a focus. Central Pharmacy/Satellite role: Reviewing and verifying medication orders in Epic for accuracy and safety. Pay Range: $38.07 - $56.73 per hour

Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator and Supervising Data Scientist for the Rush Interdisciplinary Consortium for Critical Care Trials and Data Science (RICCC), the Data Scientist will independently develop and execute complex data analysis and statistical modeling projects. The individual will use machine learning and computational methods to preprocess and analyze electronic healthcare record data. Databases will include critical care and ICU datasets, including CLIF (Common Longitudinal ICU Data Format, www.clif-icu.com), Epic Cosmos data, and multi-center clinical trial data. 

Summary:
This position is responsible supporting our clinical and financial analytics projects using Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for clinical and financial optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have course work or experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Required Job Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree in statistics, bioinformatics, mathematics, data science or equivalent field.
•3 years of experience of clinical research or analytics working with relational databases in a healthcare or hospital environment.
•Experience using statistical computer languages (SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from data sets.
•Strong understanding of clinical trial process and clinical technology.
•Knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques.
•Experience managing disparate data sets and using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
•Experience in a fast-paced environment and in managing multiple priorities effectively.
•Experience presenting data to a variety of audiences.
•Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
•Analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
•PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
