Pay Range: $29.36 - $47.79 per hour

Summary:
The 340B Program Supervisor provides operational leadership and day-to-day management of the 340B Drug Pricing Program for Rush University System for Health and affiliated child sites. Reporting to the Director of 340B & Supply Chain, this role is accountable for supervising 340B technicians, ensuring operational accuracy, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting optimization of program performance across outpatient and contract pharmacy settings.
This position serves as a key operational and compliance subject matter expert, partnering closely with Pharmacy Operations, Finance, Compliance, IT, Supply Chain, wholesalers, contract pharmacies, and 340B software vendors to ensure program integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient execution. The Supervisor plays a critical role in identifying risks, driving process improvement, and supporting the financial sustainability of the 340B program in alignment with organizational goals.

Required Job Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required
•Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
•Minimum 2 years of hands-on 340B program experience
•Minimum 1–2 years of lead, senior technician, or supervisory experience in a pharmacy or healthcare operations environment
•Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
•Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Market-Competitive Enhancements)
•Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, finance, or related field
•Experience supporting HRSA or manufacturer audits
•Experience working in a large health system, academic medical center, or multi-entity 340B environment
•Apexus 340B University coursework or certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities:
•Oversees daily 340B operational workflows including purchasing, split-billing, replenishment, accumulator review, and exception management across pharmacy settings
•Ensures accurate dispense-to-purchase reconciliation and validates wholesaler, accumulator, and administrator invoices [
•Monitors system performance and data integrity within 340B split-billing software, including drug crosswalks, site mappings, and eligibility configurations [
•Serves as the primary operational escalation point for transaction discrepancies, data anomalies, vendor issues, and technician workflow questions
•Executes and oversees routine compliance monitoring activities in accordance with internal policies, HRSA guidance, and audit plans
•Supports preparation for internal audits, HRSA audits, and manufacturer audits, including documentation compilation, issue tracking, corrective actions, and remediation follow-up
•Assists with HRSA OPAIS maintenance, data validation, recertification support, and updates under Director oversight
•Identifies compliance risks or trends and proactively escalates findings with recommended mitigation strategies to the Director of 340B & Supply Chain
•Provides direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance management for 340B technicians
•Assigns work, monitors productivity and accuracy, and ensures timely completion of operational deliverables [
•Leads onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members, reinforcing standard workflows and compliance expectations
•Fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and regulatory awareness
•Prepares and reviews operational reports related to utilization, replenishment accuracy, exception trends, audit findings, corrective action tracking, and staff workload
•Supports development of dashboards and ad hoc reporting for pharmacy leadership and internal stakeholders
•Identifies opportunities for workflow optimization, standardization, and automation to improve efficiency and scalability
•Participates in evaluation and implementation of system enhancements, new sites, and process changes impacting 340B operations
•Works collaboratively with pharmacy operations, informatics, compliance, finance, supply chain, wholesalers, contract pharmacies, and 340B software vendors to ensure program alignment and success
•Participates in ongoing education related to evolving 340B regulations, industry best practices, and operational innovations
•Performs other duties as assigned to support the success and integrity of the 340B Program
