Department specifics: 

  • The Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency Program seeks full-time and part-time family medicine faculty members to join our unopposed (4-4-4), fully accredited ACGME family medicine program affiliated with Rush University.  

  • Our program is housed at Rush Copley Medical Center, a 210-bed community hospital located in Aurora, Illinois.  

  • Our Family Medicine Center emphasizes education and team-based care in partnership with our patients.  

  • Our learners are diverse in experience and background. We teach residents, medical students, PA students, and pre-professional students.  

Position details: 

  • We're looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal, teaching, and inpatient/outpatient skills. 

  • Faculty inpatient call averages one week every 4.5 weeks with the residents.  

  • Candidate will provide direct supervision and instruction to residents in the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings. They will develop and deliver didactic lectures and procedural training to the residents, aligned with ACGME competencies. They will also participate in curriculum development, quality improvement, scholarly activity, and residency program administration.  

  • Candidates will provide mentorship and support to residents, and promote an environment conducive to learning, growth, and professional development. 

  • Candidates will have the opportunity to join the faculty of the Rush University Department of Family and Preventative Medicine.

Qualifications: 

  • Candidates must have hospital privileges within the past 2 years or currently in residency training 

  • Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license 

  • ABFM or AOBFP Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine 

  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program 

  • Prior experience teaching is preferred 

  • Previous academic experience and Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.

Summary:
The Senior Third Party Risk Associate leads complex vendor risk assessments and supports the maturation of the organization’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. This role evaluates higher risk engagements, provides subject matter expertise on risk mitigation strategies, mentors junior analysts, and collaborates with cross functional teams to enhance governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes. The Senior Associate ensures that risk evaluation activities are executed consistently and effectively, while providing strategic insights to strengthen the overall risk posture of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex and high risk third party risk assessments by facilitating questionnaires and evaluating SOC 2 reports, certifications, data handling practices, and regulatory or contractual requirements.
  • Provide guidance to business owners on identified risks and recommended remediation actions, managing escalations involving elevated vendor risks or unresolved control gaps.
  • Review and validate the assessment work of junior analysts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with TPRM methodology.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Privacy, and Information Security GRC to integrate risk requirements throughout vendor selection, contracting, and ongoing oversight.
  • Enhance TPRM questionnaires, scoring models, templates, and monitoring processes to improve program consistency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management, Vendor Risk, GRC, Compliance, or Audit functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret SOC reports, certifications, security policies, and other third party assurance documentation.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory considerations, and industry frameworks relevant to third party oversight (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Proven experience communicating complex risk issues to business stakeholders and providing clear recommendations.

Summary:
Job Summary: The Senior Program Manager and Chief of Staff is a strategic leadership role that serves as the principal advisor and operational partner to a senior executive within Rush University Medical Center and affiliated sites. The Chief of Staff anticipates the needs of the executive and proactively builds trust and confidence among the operational leaders and clinical executives who directly or indirectly report to the executive. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities including strategic planning, operational oversight, project management of enterprise-wide initiatives, and leadership of complex change management efforts across the medical center and ambulatory network. •Provides strategic counsel to the executive on operational planning, project management, execution, and coordinates enterprise-wide initiatives and special projects for the executive and direct reports across the medical center and affiliated hospitals.
•Works with the executive to set strategy, define initiatives and drive these forward. In doing so, functions as a key strategic advisor to the executive on ongoing operations, performance improvement, and strategic direction for Rush University Medical Center and affiliated sites.
•Serves as an internal consultant to senior operational leaders on complex strategic or operational initiatives at system level down to organizational level and acts as the executive's representative or proxy on Medical Center task forces, committees, and working groups.

Operational Excellence & Project Management

•Leads change management initiatives related to operational transformation, process improvement, and organizational restructuring across the medical center network.
Stakeholder Management & Representation
•Represents, communicates and provides decision making on behalf of the executive's office internally and externally, serving as executive proxy to liaise with leadership, staff, and patients.
•Ensures effective information flow to and from the executive's office through various channels including leadership team meetings, forums, correspondence, town halls, conferences, and retreats.
•Develops comprehensive presentations from conceptual information to completion, including conducting research on diverse operational topics for varied stakeholder audiences.
