Rush Copley Medical Center, in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, invites applications for the position of Associate Family Medicine Residency Program Director.
The Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency Program seeks a full time, board-certified family medicine physician to join our unopposed (4-4-4), fully accredited ACGME family medicine program affiliated with Rush University.
Our program is housed at Rush Copley Medical Center, a 230-bed community hospitallocatedin Aurora, Illinois. Our Family Medicine Center emphasizes education and team-based care in partnership with our patients. Our learners are diverse in experience and background.We teach residents, medical students, pharmacystudentsand pre-professional students. Our multidisciplinary care team includes a psychologist and an ambulatory care pharmacist.
We're looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal, teaching and inpatient/outpatient skills.
You’ll supervise residents in the clinical setting, oversee one or more core curriculum areas, as assigned by the Program Director, participate in program and curriculum quality improvement, complete quality improvement and scholarly activity to meet accreditation requirements to advance the science of family medicine and to serve as a role model for residents.
Faculty inpatient call averages one week every 4.5 weeks with the residents.
Previousacademic experience and Spanish language skills are aplus, butnotrequired..

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that maybe applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $245,600 - $329,400
