Pay Range: $23.12 - $36.41 per hour

Summary:
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, supervises the receiving, processing and delivery of hospital supplies and equipment. This position is responsible for supervising the receiving staff and maintaining the appropriate records to validate the accurate receipt, delivery and payment of all hospital purchases. Minimum Qualifications
Education
1. Associates Degree in related field required.
2. High School Diploma required and six years of experience in lieu of Associates Degree.
Experience
1. Two years of experience within supply chain management, distribution or receiving required.
2. Experience in health care.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
1. Knowledgeable the Lawson ERP system
2. Knowledge of Inventory Control processes.
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. Ability to analyze, compose, and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes.
5. Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) Internet Applications.
6. Must be able to demonstrate ability to lead and mentor a team and its individuals in adopting new job techniques and skills.
7. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure with strict deadlines to meet changing workload demands and priorities.
8. Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operation to ensure accurate receiving and distribution of supplies to serve the needs of the customers.
2. Provide direction on issues such as, priority routing, large deliveries, pick up of returns and re-delivery of misplaced deliveries.
3. Monitors inventory for re-order values for fluctuating market demands, clinical usage trends, and seasonal impact to ensure inventory availability.
4. Collaborate with multiple departments campus-wide and multi-levels of management to coordinate deliveries and provide high level of customer service to calls coming into receiving department.
5. Supervise work assignments of 3rd-party moving vendors.
6. Trains, evaluates, motivates, delegates and monitors staff activities.
7. Ensures Rush standards and Supply Chain policies and procedures are adhered.
8. Conducts employee performance evaluations and recommends annual merit increases.
9. Coordinates and ensures employees complete required training through LEAP and any other method assigned by management.
10. Ensure deliveries are processed same day for OR Directs, overnight express, radiation sensitive, and perishables packages.
11. Assists with investigating and determining proper routing protocol for unmarked packages.
12. Coordinate delivery of various types and size materials as needed.
13. Supervise the use of the AGV system and appropriately respond or report system interruptions.
14. Ensures all documents are processed and posted daily in the system.
15. Communicates to department manager in timely manner all inter- and intra- department issues related to receiving operations and staff.
16. Provides manager with daily volume reports .
Assists manager with year-end inventory process.
