This position will work alongside four fellow Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers and 12 attending Neurosurgeons seeing endovascular, cranial and spine patients on a flexible four, 10-hour day schedule. Acute care certification required for APRN candidates. Previous neurosurgery experience preferred. Summary:
The Obstetrical Technologist assists in patient care, surgical services, and delivery room services under the supervision of a registered nurse. The responsibility of this person is to carry out the function of the scrub role during surgical procedures, assists in deliveries, and maintain the supplies and equipment necessary for the specialized care of Obstetrical patients. Physical Demands:

• Work requires the ability to walk throughout the Medical Center and to be standing or walking most of the designated shift.

Applies the correct principles of aseptic technique.

Summary:
The Dialysis Access Coordinator RN works closely with transplant surgeons, interventional radiologists and nephrologists, nephrology providers and dialysis unit staff, and other care team members, as well as patients and families to educate and facilitate the placement and use of the optimal patient access option for dialysis treatments. This may include either vascular access or peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter access.
The Dialysis Access Coordinator RN serves as a role model for other clinical nursing staff and collaborates with the dialysis access team. •Communicates and collaborates with multidisciplinary dialysis access team to determine and maintain the safest dialysis access for patients.

•Develops close relationship with dialysis clinic managers, access coordinators, and staff nurses.
•Coordinates calls from dialysis clinics for procedure scheduling and any patient care concerns.
•Able to triage contacts from nephrologists, dialysis units, and patients/families regarding concerns about existing dialysis access, including ability to identify potentially emergent situations and mitigate and direct patients/families or other care providers as indicated.
