The qualified candidate would be fellowship trained and would join our well-established MFM team.

      This is an outstanding opportunity for outgoing and motivated physicians with excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to practice the full range of comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, genetic and perinatal consultation as part of a well-integrated team. This is an outpatient consultative practice supporting a large referral base of OB/GYN providers.  
      Rush Copley provides comprehensive services for all aspects of low and high-risk pregnancies and deliver over 2,700 babies annually. Deliveries are performed by OB/Gynes and Certified Midwifes with 24-hour In-House OB, Neonatal and Anesthesia coverage. With top-notch VoluSon E10 machines that are fully integrated with Epic EHR, the program is supported by APPNs, ARDMS certified sonographers, diabetic educators, nutritionists, genetic counselors, and full team of neonatal and pediatric sub-specialists.

      About Rush Connect Primary Care

      Rush Connect Primary Care is redesigning how patients access and experience primary care. The model blends the flexibility of virtual care with the engagement of in-person visits to expand reach, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes. Care is delivered by a cohesive multidisciplinary team and supported by digital tools, evidence-based workflows, and outcome-driven metrics.

      Model Highlights:

      • Hybrid Work Structure Three (3) virtual care days (~9 hours/day) and one (1) in-person clinic day (~12 hours) per week, supported by standardized operational workflows.
      • Panel Ownership The physician leads a multidisciplinary team and maintains ultimate responsibility for a dedicated patient panel.
      • Team-Based Care A shared care team—including an APP, RN, MA, social worker, and pharmacist—delivers proactive, coordinated care under physician leadership.
      • Proactive Population Management  Includes direct oversight of chronic care management (CCM), remote patient monitoring (RPM), preventive screening, and care gap closure.
      • Technology Integration Use of Epic, care management platforms, team communication tools, and clinical decision support systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Serve as the lead clinician and panel owner, accountable for all clinical care decisions, population outcomes, and care quality for your assigned patients.
      • Provide direct patient care during both virtual and in-person days, including new and follow-up visits, chronic condition management, preventive care, and diagnostic coordination.
      • Guide and collaborate with the APP and care team to deliver timely, comprehensive, and equitable care across settings.
      • Conduct and document care using Epic, leveraging integrated technology to manage results, tasks, and patient communication.
      • Participate and lead in team huddles, performance reviews, and structured improvement initiatives focused on quality, access, and population health.
      • Lead and contribute to innovation efforts, pilot workflows, and technology implementations within Rush Connect.

      Qualifications:

      • MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
      • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
      • Minimum of 1–2 years in outpatient primary care preferred
      • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary care teams and drive population-level outcomes
      • Strong digital literacy, including experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred) and care coordination platforms

Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations and/or clinical research experience is preferred.

      The AARTS Center is the region’s only comprehensive, lifespan autism center and is dedicated to addressing the unmet needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and their families.

      This position is focused on direct patient care for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences across the lifespan, including specialized diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment. The faculty member will also supervise trainees in clinical settings and be part of the core faculty for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program.

      The successful candidate would be encouraged to participate in research projects, local and national organized medicine, community education, as well as academic presentations of clinical and research related work.         Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, education, and research. Candidates must have completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship, be board certified/board eligible and be eligible for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above. The candidate will have an opportunity to build a robust clinical practice encompassing all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, to teach residents and medical students, and to develop a successful research program. The position offers the opportunity to expand this highly ranked program at the Rush main campus and regional sites that will help support the growth of the Section of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Candidates would take part in robust multidisciplinary clinical programs, including Pediatric Aerodigestive Program and Craniofacial Center, while also having the opportunity to grow clinical programs, including airway reconstruction and head and neck masses. The Section supports a busy, 72-bed Level IV NICU (highest IL designation), an 18-bed PICU with 24/7 coverage by pediatric intensivists, and a general pediatric unit at the main campus.

        The Otolaryngology department has 21 faculty, 8 APPs, and 11 audiologists that provide comprehensive array of otolaryngology services at the main campus and 6 regional sites. The department is planning to add 3 additional faculty over the next year and two additional regional sites to support clinical expansion. The program is currently ranked #19 on US News and World Report and has a highly competitive residency program with 3 residents/year and fellowships in Advanced Rhinology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

        The AARTS Center is the region’s only comprehensive, lifespan autism center and is dedicated to addressing the unmet needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and their families.

        This position is focused on direct patient care for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences across the lifespan, including specialized diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment.             Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
