This position in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department is based in West Garfield Park and will staff the Rush West Side Mental Health Center, an extension of the existing SWaCH Psychotherapy Clinic located just east in the Illinois Medical District. Summary:
The Lab Research Assistant II will support the laboratory’s molecular profiling workflows, primarily involving RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and protein profiling using the Alamar NULISAseq platform. Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager of Medical Imaging and with limited supervision, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, coordinates and performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Summary:
The Director of Development will serve as the founding fundraiser for Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive philanthropy program to support the hospital’s mission and priorities. The new role requires entrepreneurial leadership, creativity, and persistence to build a sustainable, community-rooted fundraising operation.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Major and Principal Gifts with a dotted line to the Chief Administrative Officer of ROPH, the Director will partner closely with hospital leadership, physicians, board members, and community stakeholders to establish giving priorities, build a robust donor pipeline, and secure transformational support. The successful candidate will embody Rush’s mission, vision, and values while serving as the visible philanthropic leader at ROPH and as a collaborative member of the Rush University System for Health Advancement team.

Required Job Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of professional fundraising experience, including at least five years of frontline individual fundraising.
•Demonstrated success in closing major gifts ($50,000+) and progressively larger solicitations.
•Proven ability to build or significantly expand a fundraising program, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
•Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
•Ability to serve as an independent, visible representative of the Advancement team in a satellite hospital environment.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hybrid hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours. Employees need to be able to work extended hours due to business needs.

Job Summary:
This position in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department is based in West Garfield Park and will staff the Rush West Side Mental Health Center, an extension of the existing SWaCH Psychotherapy Clinic located just east in the Illinois Medical District. This position is part of a larger initiative (Sankofa Wellness Village), specifically under the Rush Center for Community Well-Being in the Sankofa Village Wellness Center. This position will join an exciting team of individuals who are working to improve health equity on Chicago’s West Side through community engagement, mental health support, and other programming. We are looking for an individual dedicated to supporting our community and who will work collaboratively alongside other tenants of the building.
To best support the mental health needs of this population (a need that has been consistently identified by the community through Rush’s Community Health Needs Assessment and focus groups as the Sankofa Wellness Village concept has been implemented), we are looking for candidates with a strong background in mental health treatment, including experience with medically and psychosocially complex populations, and with an interest in intervening with West Side community members and Rush patients dynamically – offering individual therapy in-person and/or via telehealth.
