The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting. The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing. Neonatology Advanced Practice Provider

The Department of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Division of Neonatology. The Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level-3, 72 bed (single-roomed), state-of-the-art unit. We care for critically ill infants who are born at Rush and/or transferred in from network hospitals. Our patient mix ranges from extremely preterm infants to those with complex surgical needs.
Our center has had consistent excellent outcomes in several major neonatal morbidities in very low birth weight infants within the Vermont Oxford Network. The Division partners with Obstetrics and Pediatric subspecialists to provide prenatal care and consultation through our multidisciplinary Fetal-Neonatal Center. Our productive NICU Human Milk research team at Rush conducts clinical and translational research in diverse areas: clinical, neurodevelopmental, and economic outcomes associated with mother’s own milk and donor milk, disparities in lactation, maternal, infant and milk microbiome, human milk science, and lactation physiology.
The expectation for this role would be to care for a complex set of patients and work collaboratively with neonatologists, neonatal fellows, pediatric residents, and fellow Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities would include delivery room attendance and management, direct patient care, neonatal procedures, and neonatal transport. The schedule for this position rotates and is handled through self-scheduling within guidelines. The schedule includes 10-hour day shifts, 16-hour overnight shifts from 4pm – 8am, and 24-hour shifts (24-hour shifts are not required).
*APRN candidates for this position must be acute care certified. Experienced NICU APPs may qualify for an up to $20,000 signing bonus!

Summary:

The IR department at Rush has an excellent collaborative relationship with Vascular Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Hepatology, Oncology/Oncologic Surgery, Urology and Gynecology with robust workflow. The IR department is clinically oriented with a very busy inpatient consult and outpatient clinic volume. The department currently has 7 faculty and 4 APPs. The program also has 4 categorical integrated IR/DR (increasing to 5 in 2026), 2 independent IR/DR resident and one advanced VIR fellowship positions per year.
Our department performs the whole spectrum of vascular and interventional procedures including, complex portal venous (TIPSS, PARTO, etc), complex critical limb ischemia procedures including deep venous arterialization (DVA), pedal recanalizations, aortic stent grafts for aneurysms and dissections, complex venous recanalizations, IVC filter placement and removal, all aspects of interventional oncologic procedures including radioembolization, chemoembolization, microwave, IRE, cryoablation, vertebral augmentation, biopsies, fibroid and AVM embolization, transjugular biopsy, dialysis interventions including percutaneous AV access creation and percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, tunneled catheter placements (port/dialysis catheters), etc. We have a busy service starting the day at 6 am with morning rounds and performing around 30-35 cases. Call will be one weekday and shared evenly throughout the year for weekends.
All IR faculty participate in multidisciplinary conferences, research publications, hospital committees, and quality initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with IR/DR residents and medical students from Rush Medical College and collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from surgery specialties, oncology, hepatology, gastroenterology, urology, radiation oncology, and organ transplant services. Familiarity with clinical practice model and research experience or interest are preferred.

Neonatology Advanced Practice Provider

The Department of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Division of Neonatology. The Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level-3, 72 bed (single-roomed), state-of-the-art unit. We care for critically ill infants who are born at Rush and/or transferred in from network hospitals. Our patient mix ranges from extremely preterm infants to those with complex surgical needs.
Our center has had consistent excellent outcomes in several major neonatal morbidities in very low birth weight infants within the Vermont Oxford Network. The Division partners with Obstetrics and Pediatric subspecialists to provide prenatal care and consultation through our multidisciplinary Fetal-Neonatal Center. Our productive NICU Human Milk research team at Rush conducts clinical and translational research in diverse areas: clinical, neurodevelopmental, and economic outcomes associated with mother’s own milk and donor milk, disparities in lactation, maternal, infant and milk microbiome, human milk science, and lactation physiology.
The expectation for this role would be to care for a complex set of patients and work collaboratively with neonatologists, neonatal fellows, pediatric residents, and fellow Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities would include delivery room attendance and management, direct patient care, neonatal procedures, and neonatal transport. The schedule for this position rotates and is handled through self-scheduling within guidelines. The schedule includes 10-hour day shifts, 16-hour overnight shifts from 4pm – 8am, and 24-hour shifts (24-hour shifts are not required).
*APRN candidates for this position must be acute care certified. Experienced NICU APPs may qualify for an up to $20,000 signing bonus!
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. The APP will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. Summary:

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our GIM faculty at Associates in Internal Medicine (AIM), an on-campus outpatient clinic located at Rush’s main campus in downtown Chicago.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care and involvement with teaching medical students and residents. These positions provide opportunities for career and academic growth and leadership development. The Division of General Internal Medicine at RUSH is academically active and growing. There are currently more than 50 faculty members active in a variety of professional activities, including research, medical education, advocacy, leadership, and quality improvement work. We provide care at over 10 clinical sites across Chicago and its Western suburbs, including the recent openings of the West Loop and Hinsdale practices. We are constantly expanding our academic, educational, and clinical footprint and eagerly collaborate within and outside of Rush Medical College.

This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Rush Medical Group is currently seeking Interventional Radiologists to join our expanding department. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of providers and contribute to nationally recognized clinical programs that promote exceptional, coordinated patient care. The successful candidate will serve as a full-time physician at Rush University Medical Center, located in downtown Chicago. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in IR/DR. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and an academic appointment aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The IR department at Rush has an excellent collaborative relationship with Vascular Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Hepatology, Oncology/Oncologic Surgery, Urology and Gynecology with robust workflow. The IR department is clinically oriented with a very busy inpatient consult and outpatient clinic volume. The department currently has 7 faculty and 4 APPs. The program also has 4 categorical integrated IR/DR (increasing to 5 in 2026), 2 independent IR/DR resident and one advanced VIR fellowship positions per year.
Our department performs the whole spectrum of vascular and interventional procedures including, complex portal venous (TIPSS, PARTO, etc), complex critical limb ischemia procedures including deep venous arterialization (DVA), pedal recanalizations, aortic stent grafts for aneurysms and dissections, complex venous recanalizations, IVC filter placement and removal, all aspects of interventional oncologic procedures including radioembolization, chemoembolization, microwave, IRE, cryoablation, vertebral augmentation, biopsies, fibroid and AVM embolization, transjugular biopsy, dialysis interventions including percutaneous AV access creation and percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, tunneled catheter placements (port/dialysis catheters), etc. We have a busy service starting the day at 6 am with morning rounds and performing around 30-35 cases. Call will be one weekday and shared evenly throughout the year for weekends.
All IR faculty participate in multidisciplinary conferences, research publications, hospital committees, and quality initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with IR/DR residents and medical students from Rush Medical College and collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from surgery specialties, oncology, hepatology, gastroenterology, urology, radiation oncology, and organ transplant services. Familiarity with clinical practice model and research experience or interest are preferred.
