      1.Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.

      Abilities:

      Summary:
      The Program Manager is responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including the planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of all assigned projects within established budget/schedule.       Summary:

        The scope of practice of the Clinical Pharmacist Specialist covers direct and indirect patient care, education, medication safety, performance improvement, and consultation. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist is responsible for the provision of both operational and clinical pharmacy services to a general population of patients.         This position has primary patient care responsibilities for the critical care and emergency medicine patient populations. The position is an onsite clinical pharmacy specialist, split between evening and day coverage of adult critical care patients.

        • Complete clinical and operational activities as designated by the departmental management team (e.g. pyxis inventory optimization, relevant process improvement projects, etc.).
        • Precept pharmacy students and residents (PGY1 and PGY2) as assigned in clinical and operational areas.
        • Provides patient-specific pharmacotherapy recommendations and drug information to the medical and nursing staff.
        • Assess and evaluates the medical and drug literature in order to compare and contrast therapeutic regimens and uses for new or existing drug treatments.
