      Summary:
      The RUSH Access Center Specialist I manages all clinical and non-clinical calls and performs clinic activities including routine and advanced scheduling, basic triage, message taking, and referral management. The RUSH Access Center Specialist I collaborates with Access Center team members and practice staff to meet overall access, revenue cycle and scheduling objectives while exceeding customers’ expectations. This includes but is not limited to discussing the patient’s financial responsibility for their upcoming visit, outstanding balances, and referral requirements based on Rush contracts.
      10.Effectively completes point of service collections over the phone using secure payment processing systems via multiple payment options, such as credit/debit cards and/or payment plans.
      11.Maintains a high level of understanding and acts as a patient resource for physician and ancillary service offerings, navigating the Rush campus, payment categories, and the billing procedures of Rush University.

    Required Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Eight years’ work experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, health insurance or related industry.
    • Five years’ full lifecycle recruitment experience.
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale change management initiatives.

    • Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results.

    Responsibilities:
    1.Manages the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment Team, including management of Recruiters and their associated client group.
    2.Identifies opportunities for performance, process, and customer service improvements and executes strategies to achieve results in a deadline-driven environment; develops and manages implementation of new processes and procedures.
    3.Provides consultative services to and collaborates with front line managers and senior leaders to develop recruitment strategy for associated client groups.
    4.Achieves best-in-class recruitment performance metrics through effective use of sourcing and recruitment strategies; reports metrics to Recruitment/HR leadership on a quarterly basis.
    5.Collaborates with Program Manager to promote the Rush Employment Brand and build candidate pipelines through social media and recruitment events.
    6.Trains, develops, and mentors staff level recruiters and prepares them for movement through the internal Rush recruitment career path.
    7.Implements large-scale change management initiatives related to the Recruitment function; responsible for managing all related communications and training; measures results to ensure effectiveness.
    8.Leverages technology wherever possible to create efficiencies; maintains relationships with outside vendors for remote interviewing (Skype or conference-based) and works with advertising agency.
    9.Creates a positive and respectful work environment for Recruiters based on the ICARE values.
