      Summary:
      This role will perform diagnostic sonograms across the spectrum of Abdominal, OB/Gyn, Vascular, MSK and Pediatric imaging according to established standards with certification in one specialty. This role will work to recognize normal and abnormal characteristics of sonograms in a variety of settings. As a Sonographer, understands and integrates into the delivery of patient care in regards to their growth and development process. The position actively supports the Hospital’s and Department’s Continuous Quality Improvement and customer service goals, individually and as an effective team member. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and ICARE values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures

      Required Job Qualifications:
      •Completion of didactic coursework from an accredited Sonography Program.
      •Completion of 60% of required clinical hours in an accredited Sonography Program.
      •Registry or registry eligible for one certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), either Abdominal (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Vascular (RVT), Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK) or Pediatrics (PS). If registry eligible, must obtain certification within first 6 months of employment.
      •Competent and proficient in Sonography
      •Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – BLS from American Heart Association preferred
      •Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
      •Working knowledge of the IT systems that support the modality
      •Ability to identify and flag abnormalities
      Physical Demands:
      •Requires full range body motion including handling and lifting patients when necessary. Must be able to move the equipment to perform Diagnostic Sonograms on a portable basis.

        Summary:
        The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.         • Leads the development of comprehensive organization change management strategies and plans for key initiatives.

        Required Job Qualifications:

        • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Human Resources Operations, Business Management, Psychology, Communications, Organizational Behavior, Organization Development or similar fields)
        • 5 years of experience providing change management solutions in support of large-scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives.
        • Strong consulting, influencing, execution, analytical and communication skills.
        • Expertise in change management areas such as communications, training and support, leadership engagement or change network management.
        • Emphasis on interpersonal skills that encourages behavior change and end user adoption.
        • Proficient and functional knowledge of MS Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Visio, Access, MS Outlook) and Project Management software (Jira, Confluence)
        • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
        • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.

        Preferred Job Qualifications:

        • Master’s degree in Organization Development or Business Administration
        • 7+ years of experience leading complex change management portfolio or projects
        • Prior experience working in a University or Higher Education setting.
        • Prior experience with Workday Student.
        • Professional in Project Management (PMP)
        • Prosci Change Management or ACMP certification
        • ERP Change Management delivery experience

        Summary:
        The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting. The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing. In addition, the Certified Medical Assistant will administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, small volume nebulizer treatment, over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.         Required Job Qualifications:
        •High school diploma/GED required.
        •Clinical Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NAHP, AAH, or NHA required (includes principles and techniques of injections and medication administration) required upon hire.
        •Graduates of a Rush Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program are required to obtain Clinical Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NAHP, AAH, or NHA required within six months of hire.
        •Current CPR certification required upon start date.

        Responsibilities:
        1.Coordinates and maintains organized patient flow.
        2.Performs patient intake: vital signs, height and weight, reason for visit, interim history, allergies, medication lists, and other interventions as required.
        3.Prepares patient for exam based on reason for visit.
        4.Prepares and supports patient and assists provider with procedures.
        5.Reviews appointment schedules and ensures all patient charts are available for the visit.
        6.Reviews patient charts and ensures that all ancillary reports and required paperwork are available to the provider at the time of visit.
        7.Performs basic lab and testing procedures according to standards.
        8.Performs phlebotomy and EKGs.
        9.Administers immunizations as ordered by Physician.
        10.Administers RUMG approved intramuscular or subcutaneous medications after competency has been assessed, verified and documented.
        11.Performs nebulizer treatments in the clinic setting after competency has been assessed, verified and documented.
        12.Performs Tuberculin skin testing upon the order of the Physician.
        13.Demonstrates appropriate population specific techniques with patients.
        14.Documents administration of over-the-counter medications and/or other medications in Epic per policy or protocol.
        15.Cleans, prepares and stocks exam rooms, treatment rooms, and workstations.
        16.Calls patients regarding test results and medical instruction under the direction of a Physician.
        17.Calls in medication refills under the direction of a Physician or protocol.
        18.Documents patient care information in the outpatient medical record according to standards.
        19.Assists with scheduling of patient tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
        20.Assists in the care, cleaning, and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
        21.Maintains the inventory of medical and linen supplies.
        22.Maintains quality control for equipment.
        23.Provides cross coverage to other clinical areas as assigned.
        24.Participates in quality improvement projects.
        25.Maintains compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and other regulatory bodies.
        26.May have Unit specific duties as needed.
