      Responsibilities:
      1. Administers, monitors, and weans mechanical ventilation; makes ventilator recommendations based on clinical assessment, technical assessment, and laboratory values; manages airways.

      8. Performs bedside spirometry including spontaneous breathing parameters, PEFR, and other limited pulmonary function; identifies normal values for patients.
      9. Provides patient/family education.

      11. Participates in on-going maintenance of the blood gas equipment, QC, calibration and proficiency testing.

This provider will take over and maintain a panel of patients for all acute, chronic and health maintenance needs.

      Duties & Responsibilities

      • 36 patient-facing hours and four admin hours/week

      Preferred Qualifications:

        Summary:
        The Pharmacist may fill the role of a number of different positions in the department. The Pharmacist may work in central operations, or in a satellite. He/she may work a day, evening, or overnight shifts. The shift the Pharmacist works will reflect the training and skill set that the pharmacist has. Operations role: The scope shall include operational responsibility for order verification, IV therapy, total parenteral nutrition, automated dispensing cabinets (ADC), oral drug compounding/repackaging, dispensing and delivery of medications.           Position Highlights:

          · Rush Heart & Vascular’s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges.

          · Join a highly collaborative Electrophysiology program comprised of 6 electrophysiologists and a dedicated team of 4 Advanced Practice Providers supporting a dynamic and expanding service line.

          · Work alongside a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team across multiple practice locations, including Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital, South Loop, River North, Oak Brook, and Northwest Indiana.

           Responsibilities:

          · This position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday-Friday four 10-hour shift schedule. No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.

          · Management of inpatient electrophysiology patients, including overnight EP admissions and post-procedural care.

          · Care coordination and monitoring for same-day discharge of post-ablation patients.

          · Evaluation and management of device-related admissions and electrophysiology consults.

          · Management of outpatient electrophysiology patients, including hospital follow ups.

          · Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiology teams, nursing staff, and ancillary support services to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
