      Summary:
      The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 is a registered nurse (RN) who works with physician practices and multi-disciplinary teams to promote the effective utilization of services and coordination of care for patients within the Cancer Center service line. The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 contributes to the assessment of patients' psychosocial, financial and clinical needs throughout the continuum of care ensuring high quality care while supporting quality metrics of the Cancer Center and Rush University Medical Center The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 functions as a liaison between patients, physician practices, the hospital, and the community performing functions that meet the core competencies of oncology navigation; Care Coordination, Communication, Education, and Professional Role/Care as well as the domains of the Profession Practice Model; Relationships and Caring, Evidence Based Practice, Technical Expertise, Critical Thinking and Leadership. The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 care may be focused in medical oncology, hematology, stem cell transplant, gyne-oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, cancer screening or supporting multi-disciplinary clinics.       Technical Expertise1. Responds to patient questions and needs via various technology: “My Chart,” staff messages, telephone contact, etc.
      2.Coordinates/Schedules admissions, surgeries, laboratory testing, radiographic exam, and infusion.
      3.Performs basic administrative tasks related to role
      4.Establishes plan for venous access via assessment of peripheral veins.
      5.Performs nursing procedures per policy.
      6.Assists providers with procedures utilizing appropriate technique.
      7.Assesses patient and family learning style to provide ongoing education regarding diagnosis, staging, treatment, side effects and self-care.

      The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our growing academic faculty in downtown Chicago, IL.

Working alongside an outstanding Maternal-Fetal Medicine service and multidisciplinary Fetal-Neonatal Medicine Center, we provide coordinated prenatal consultation and comprehensive care for families facing the most challenging fetal diagnoses.

      Position Details

      • Provide direct patient care for critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, NICU Developmental Follow Up Clinic and Fetal-Neonatal Medicine Center
      • Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and advanced practice learners
      • Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional patient care, learner education, and advancing the field of neonatal medicine

      Qualifications

      ●Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required

      Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets.       Summary:
      The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.       Summary:
      Rush University Medical Center is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Capital Program Manager to support enterprise-wide capital infrastructure planning. Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the long-range capital program, aligning priorities with institutional goals, and supporting risk mitigation through data-driven planning.
      This is a decision-making position that plays a critical role in advancing capital planning while insulating the Director from day-to-day technical and funding decisions. The Capital Program Manager takes ownership of capital submission development, technical review, project prioritization, and coordination with internal stakeholders—empowering the Director to focus on long-term strategy and leadership alignment.
      Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate facility condition assessments (FCAs), preparing business case analyses for capital submissions, and coordinating the capital planning cycle. The role is also responsible for using facility and asset data to help reduce the risk of failure due to deferred maintenance.
      While this position is not responsible for project execution (led by Planning, Design & Construction), understanding construction timing and interdependencies is critical to successful alignment and planning. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, operational awareness, and familiarity with capital portfolio tools and practices.

      Other information:

    Summary:
    Rush University Medical Center is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Capital Program Manager to support enterprise-wide capital infrastructure planning. Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the long-range capital program, aligning priorities with institutional goals, and supporting risk mitigation through data-driven planning.
    This is a decision-making position that plays a critical role in advancing capital planning while insulating the Director from day-to-day technical and funding decisions. The Capital Program Manager takes ownership of capital submission development, technical review, project prioritization, and coordination with internal stakeholders—empowering the Director to focus on long-term strategy and leadership alignment.
    Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate facility condition assessments (FCAs), preparing business case analyses for capital submissions, and coordinating the capital planning cycle. The role is also responsible for using facility and asset data to help reduce the risk of failure due to deferred maintenance.
    While this position is not responsible for project execution (led by Planning, Design & Construction), understanding construction timing and interdependencies is critical to successful alignment and planning. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, operational awareness, and familiarity with capital portfolio tools and practices.

    Other information:
    ••Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related technical discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
    •Minimum 5–7 years of experience in capital planning, facility engineering, or related roles in complex institutions.
    •Strong analytical and business planning skills, including lifecycle cost analysis and capital budgeting.
    •Familiarity with infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and maintenance strategies.
    •Understanding of project management concepts, including scheduling and phasing, though this is not a project manager role.
    •Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and capital planning systems (e.g., VFA, Asset Planner).
    Preferred Job Qualifications:
    •Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced technical degree.
    •Experience in healthcare or academic medical centers.
    •Exposure to AI tools, predictive modeling, or capital portfolio analytics.
    •Knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability practices, or building automation technologies.

    Responsibilities:
    •Develop and manage the overall capital program, aligning investment priorities with operational goals and institutional strategies.
    •Use data and condition assessments to support risk mitigation planning and address deferred maintenance across campus facilities.
    •Maintain and regularly update FCAs to reflect asset health and inform capital prioritization models.
    •Prepare capital project submissions, including scope, justification, budget, and alignment with strategic or compliance drivers.
    •Build and present business cases incorporating lifecycle cost, ROI/payback, risk, energy efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
    •Collaborate with Planning, Design & Construction to align planning inputs with project timelines, phasing, and execution sequencing.
    •Support operational readiness of capital projects, including integration with clinical operations, turnover requirements, and system startup planning.
    •Help maintain and enforce infrastructure standards to ensure consistency and quality across capital and renewal projects.
    •Incorporate facility data, energy management system inputs, and automation trends into capital forecasts and dashboards.

    Summary:

The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 contributes to the assessment of patients' psychosocial, financial and clinical needs throughout the continuum of care ensuring high quality care while supporting quality metrics of the Cancer Center and Rush University Medical Center The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 functions as a liaison between patients, physician practices, the hospital, and the community performing functions that meet the core competencies of oncology navigation; Care Coordination, Communication, Education, and Professional Role/Care as well as the domains of the Profession Practice Model; Relationships and Caring, Evidence Based Practice, Technical Expertise, Critical Thinking and Leadership. The Oncology Nurse Navigator 2 care may be focused in medical oncology, hematology, stem cell transplant, gyne-oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, cancer screening or supporting multi-disciplinary clinics.     Summary:
    The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting. The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing. In addition, the Certified Medical Assistant will administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, small volume nebulizer treatment, over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.     14.Documents administration of over-the-counter medications and/or other medications in Epic per policy or protocol.
    15.Cleans, prepares and stocks exam rooms, treatment rooms, and workstations.
    16.Calls patients regarding test results and medical instruction under the direction of a Physician.
    17.Calls in medication refills under the direction of a Physician or protocol.
    18.Documents patient care information in the outpatient medical record according to standards.
    19.Assists with scheduling of patient tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
