The candidate will join the Division of Nephrology, and work within the Transplant Service Line, which is comprised of eleven Advanced Practice Providers and thirteen clinical faculty.  The selected candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership across all phases of transplant nephrology, including pre-transplant, peri-transplant, and post-transplant care, with a focus on delivering efficient, evidence-based, and guideline-driven care. This role includes ensuring full compliance with Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) regulations related to patient evaluation, ongoing care, data collection and submission, and clinical outcomes. Additionally, the physician will lead and oversee quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care processes and outcomes throughout the transplant continuum.

            The mission of the Transplant Service Line at Rush University Medical Center is to provide superior patient care and maintain superb clinical outcomes. We work collaboratively across multiple disciplines to ensure the patients will receive true multidisciplinary care in the entire continuum of the pre-transplant, perioperative and post-transplant care.             The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is looking for an Assistant Professor to join its expanding Interventional Movement Disorder Program. This program manages patients undergoing evaluations and treatments such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), infusion therapies, and MRI-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS).

            We're looking for candidates with a strong clinical and research interest in using DBS, focused ultrasound, and other advanced therapies for movement disorders. We also welcome those with a secondary interest in areas like genetics, cognition, neuropsychiatric issues, physiology, imaging, or basic science.  

            This role is primarily clinically focused, but offers ample opportunities for research collaboration and educational initiatives. 

            The Rush Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program is the largest and oldest of its kind in Chicagoland, holding several Centers of Excellence designations at Rush University. This recruitment is a key part of a strategic growth initiative at Rush University Medical Center. 

            We are seeking a Board Certified Neurologist who has completed a fellowship program to join our comprehensive team. The successful candidate will become part of a robust program comprising 12 movement disorder neurologists, 3 neuropsychologists, 2 psychiatrists, and 15 clinical staff. Additionally, the program boasts a substantial clinical and translational research infrastructure, supported by 15 clinical research managers and coordinators. The program sees approximately 6,000 adult and pediatric patients annually, encompassing all types of movement disorders. 

            We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to patient care, resident and fellow education, clinical medicine, and research. The successful candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher within Rush Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Fellows, students, Psychiatry, and videography are integral components of our program.

              The selected individual will join a section of eight clinical faculty to cover outpatient and inpatient needs for the Transplant Service Line, while collaborating closely with Dr. Steven Flamm, Clinical Director of Network Development and Outreach for the Transplant Service Line and Director of Research in the Section of Hepatology, at the Rush downtown campus and the seven liver transplant outreach sites where you will assist in building strong referring relationships for the Rush Solid Organ Transplant program.

              Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, resident education, and research. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in both transplant hepatology as well as gastroenterology and be eligible for faculty appointment at the assistant professor level or above. Candidates should have experience in clinical hepatology and liver transplantation, along with a strong interest and successful track record in establishing referring provider relationships for liver transplant and have a deep desire and proven expertise in growth strategies for Liver Transplant programs. An interest or experience in alcohol use disease order is also a plus. Rush was one of the first ten liver transplant centers in the United States, starting in the 1980s. Nearly 2,000 patients have received a liver transplant during the program’s 35-year history.                         Qualifications:

                        Certification: Board certified or eligible in Hematology

                        Experience: Expertise in clinical and laboratory aspects of Hematology, specifically in anemia and disorders of hemostasis

This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances.                         The RUSH Oak Park Physicians Group, Center for Diabetes and Endocrine Care is currently recruiting for a board-certified/board-eligible Endocrinologist, with a special interest in thyroid cancer, endocrine cancers, and endocrine complications of cancer therapies to join its accomplished provider team. The chosen candidate joining our busy practice will predominantly perform outpatient care and inpatient consults and management. The RUSH Center for Diabetes and Endocrine Care has one main location conjoined with the RUSH Oak Park Hospital, state of the art ultrasound machines, a team of advanced Midlevel practitioners, experienced Diabetic nurses, clinical diabetes educators, and a full complement of support staff plus. We work in close collaboration with both RUSH Endocrine Surgery and Otolaryngology.

                        Qualified applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. Experience with thyroid cancer management would be valued, but mentorship would be available for the ideal candidate with interest. Candidates must be MD/DO physician trained and be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
