      Summary:

The Ambulatory RN 2 continues to collaborate with other members of the health care team when the need for assistance is identified.       Required Job Qualifications:
      • Current license and credentials by the state they are assigned.
      • At least one year of nursing experience required.
      • Earned Nursing Degree at the Baccalaureate level or higher for those hired after January 1, 2014.
      • All transfers to Rush University Medical Center or Rush University Medical Group from other Rush entities must have an earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher prior to the transfer.
      • Chief Nursing Officer must provide approval for any RNs with ADN degree hired after 10/22/2020, based upon unit need. ADN RNs hired after 10/22/2020 must show continued enrolment towards a BSN degree with a signature of contract stipulating a BSN degree must be completed within 3 years of hire, Failure to do so will result in termination. ADN RNS are not eligible for leveling to RN3.

      Emergency Medicine –Lead Advanced Practice Provider

      •The Lead APP role will be 0. 85FTE clinical and 0.15FTE administrative and will supervise a team of approximately 11 APPs across two main Rush sites.

       •In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Lead will be responsible for call scheduling, interviewing, evaluations, and building a team of highly reliable, high-performing APP clinicians 

      •Candidate must possess strong clinical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

       •This role will function on a rotating shift schedule including nights and weekends alongside a team of 68 attending physicians, 36 residents, 5 fellows and 11 APPs. 

      Preferred Qualifications: 

      •Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine

       The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. The APP will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care.       Candidates will join the faculty of Rush Medical College, and teach residents, medical students, and other trainees in clinical settings. Opportunities for research, mentorship, and other activities within our vibrant academic community may be available depending on the candidates’ background and experience. Training and experience in the care of sex and gender minorities is required, and experience working in medical settings is strongly preferred.

      This position will be housed in the Gender-Affirming Surgery Clinic and will provide clinical services, including assessment and treatment, to adults seeking, undergoing, and recovering from gender-affirming surgeries. Clinical work will be primarily outpatient and in-person, but less frequently will include video visits and postoperative, inpatient care.

      The successful candidate will work closely with related clinical and administrative services in the Gender-Affirming Surgery Clinic and across the hospital, caring for transgender and gender diverse people. While surgery-related assessments and interventions will be the priority, the candidate will also provide ongoing psychotherapeutic treatments established for a range of conditions. The successful candidate will conduct quality improvement and program development initiatives at the intersection of gender-affirming care and mental health.

      This position will receive professional development, mentorship, and a peer community via the Division of Hospital Psychology. Hospital Psychology provides psychological services to patients and families admitted in critical care, acute care, acute rehabilitation and critical illness recovery units, and operates small outpatient clinics designed to meet the needs of recently discharged patients, older adults, and people with disabilities.

        The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws.     The successful candidate will work closely with related clinical and administrative services in the Gender-Affirming Surgery Clinic and across the hospital, caring for transgender and gender diverse people. While surgery-related assessments and interventions will be the priority, the candidate will also provide ongoing psychotherapeutic treatments established for a range of conditions. The successful candidate will conduct quality improvement and program development initiatives at the intersection of gender-affirming care and mental health.

    Summary:
    This Automation Business Process Analyst will work with stakeholders and developers on process automation opportunities. They will provide process analysis and create documents, such as process definition documents (PDDs) and aide in creating the solution design documents (SDDs). They will define business requirements and test case scenarios of the future state of automated business processes. They will capture and understand the current business processes/workflows and provide documentation to assist in moving to an automation solution. This role will span all aspects of the organization including clinical, back office, University, Revenue Cycle, etc.

    General understanding of Agentic AI and orchestration in healthcare industry

    Preferred Job Qualifications:

    Summary:
    The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.
