Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician 1 assists licensed pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy performing duties such as preparing, filling, and labeling medications for patients in the Medical Center. As patient care assignments dictate, the technician I is responsive to the explicit need of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. When relevant, appropriate standards of practice and sensitivity to the psychosocial needs of these patient populations are exercised. Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Minimally Invasive (MIS) & Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP). This provider will function independently in their own clinic supporting our growing abdominal wall reconstruction practice (complex general surgery), in addition to providing post-op and follow-up support for other general surgery & bariatric surgery programs at Rush University Medical Center.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in bariatric surgery or related field is preferred. Relevant RN experience may be considered.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. Summary:
The Health Information Management Forms Analyst uses advanced organizational skills and critical thinking to catalog medical record forms from clinical operations in an organized method with the support of legal, compliance, risk, clinical operations, and health information management. This analyst provides education and assistance to operational departments, supports fellow team members, and develops processes/procedures to ensure accurate and timely capture of all new forms in medical records. •Use logic-based critical thinking and decision making to accurately manage the new forms approval process, including a cross-functional governance committee.
•Responsible for monitoring forms use (via incoming scanning) with precise version control to ensure departments are using the most up-to-date version of a forms.
•Collaborate with the policy stakeholders to incorporate forms
•Audit and reconcile issues related to forms or unapproved forms usage, and collaborate with users to create alignment with forms policies and procedures
•Activate MyChart accounts and respond to MyChart inquiries related to medical records
•Check and troubleshoot document quality control issues to ensure a legible medical record while monitoring accuracy.
•Understand and keep patient sensitive information protected per all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines, including HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act) for medical records processing and requests.
•Triages and provides excellent patient and internal/external customer service (via phone, in-person, or by electronic means) inquiries and on-time delivery of records to patients, payors, or approved outside entities
•Identify trends, analyze to propose and create meaningful solutions, improve processes, create training content, and participate in the education of departments regarding forms use
•Serves as subject matter expert for fellow team members to review questions and assist with resolving issues.
