This cardiologist will help shape the future of Cardiology in Yorkville, Illinois, and should be board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Cardiac CTA training would be ideal.

      Department Specifics:

      · Rush Heart & Vascular’s western practice is based at Rush Copley Medical Center and has specialists dedicated to diagnosing and treating virtually every type of cardiac or vascular problem in adults.

      · We provide comprehensive care for both the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

      · Our services include general cardiology, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology with a fully equipped diagnostic center including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.

      · We offer early detection and screening programs, an outpatient chest pain center, and cardiac CT/MRI.

      · Through its partnership with Rush University Medical Center, patients have access to subspecialty programs in cardio-oncology, advanced heart failure, and structural heart disease.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      · Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.

      · Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

      · Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the cardiology program.

      · Contribute to program growth and innovation through participation in outreach, education, and clinical research initiatives.

      · Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain board certification and credentialing requirements.

      · Minimum of three (3) years of post-training experience in general cardiology required.

              About the Role  

              • The Palliative Medicine Section is seeking motivated candidates to serve as a clinician-educator at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.  

              • The section is comprised of a multidisciplinary team that involves Social Workers, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses and Medical Assistants.  

              • This position brings excellent opportunity to develop teaching skills for both graduate and undergraduate clinical skills through extensive involvement in multiple educational programs. 

              The team currently covers two main areas: inpatient consult service and outpatient clinic. The opportunity is ideal for the palliative medicine physician who is interested in an urban academic teaching hospital and working within a robust and rapidly growing interdisciplinary palliative medicine team. This position includes patient care, education and scholarly productivity. Additional highlights include: 

              • Maintain a strong focus on interdisciplinary education with learners from several fellowships and required rotation for medical residents 

              • Interface with a diverse patient population (socioeconomic, cultural, and disease processes) 

              • Serve as a core clinical faculty member for a strong ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship in a joint venture with neighboring Cook County Hospital 

              • Partner with an onsite inpatient hospice unit 

              • Participate in opportunities in workforce development, workforce resiliency research, academic research and quality improvement  

              • Provide mentorship and continuing education within the Schools of Medicine and Nursing at Rush University Medical Center

              Summary:
              Reporting to the Manager of Compliance audit, the Corporate Compliance Regulatory Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring Rush University System for Health (Rush) maintains the highest standards of regulatory compliance across the system. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits to ensure alignment with federal and state regulations as well as Rush’s internal policies. The Analyst collaborates closely with hospital departments and Rush Medical Group (RMG) to identify, analyze, and resolve compliance related issues, minimizing organizational risk and promoting operational integrity.               Responsibilities:
              1. Design and execute compliance audits of medical record documentation to detect discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies to mitigate false claims allegations.
              2.Perform targeted reviews of documentation and billing to ensure compliance with Medicare Teaching Physician guidelines and conditions of payment.
              3. Develop and conduct training sessions for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), to ensure understanding of Medicare documentation guidelines for “incident to” and split/shared regulations, including place of service codes and supervision guidelines.
              4.Prepare and present detailed audit reports of findings to the System Manager with recommended corrective actions.

                        • The Palliative Medicine Section is seeking motivated candidates to serve as a clinician-educator at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.  

                        • The section is comprised of a multidisciplinary team that involves Social Workers, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses and Medical Assistants.  

                        • This position brings excellent opportunity to develop teaching skills for both graduate and undergraduate clinical skills through extensive involvement in multiple educational programs. 

                        The team currently covers two main areas: inpatient consult service and outpatient clinic. The opportunity is ideal for the palliative medicine physician who is interested in an urban academic teaching hospital and working within a robust and rapidly growing interdisciplinary palliative medicine team. This position includes patient care, education and scholarly productivity. Additional highlights include: 

                        • Maintain a strong focus on interdisciplinary education with learners from several fellowships and required rotation for medical residents 

                        • Interface with a diverse patient population (socioeconomic, cultural, and disease processes)

                           Job Summary:

                          This position in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department will provide psychotherapy to Rush patients and community members. To best support the mental health needs of this population, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in mental health treatment and experience with medically and psychosocially complex populations.

                          This position will also have the opportunity to receive individual and group supervision while having access to continuing education opportunities throughout the hospital system. This position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

                            Required Job Qualifications:
                            •Master’s Degree in Social Work.
                            •Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois.
                            •Two years’ experience in healthcare, care management, mental health and/or social services.
                            Preferred Job Qualifications:
                            •Experience with relevant population(s).
                            •Professional qualities such as initiative, self-reflection, commitment, responsiveness and adaptability.
                            •Knowledge of care management, community-based interventions, assessment, counseling and/or motivational interviewing.
                            •Computer literate (Microsoft Office and others).

                            Responsibilities:

                            1. Provides patient-centered and trauma-informed psychotherapy services to adults and older adults and addresses the specialized needs of each individual, including adjusting to diagnosis and managing mood concerns as they relate to trauma, depression, anxiety, etc.

                            2. Carries out comprehensive psychotherapy intake assessments (both in person and via teletherapy) to develop a plan of care for the client.

                            3. Works collaboratively with psychotherapy patients and families to develop therapy goals and provide the necessary tools, skills, and resources to help achieve those goals.

                            4. Maintains relationship with other Rush providers through consistent and timely communication and participation in interdisciplinary meetings as scheduled.

                            5. Completes all documentation and billing of patient sessions and other patient interactions in Epic software.

                            6. Connects patients and their families to relevant resources, both at RUSH and in the community, to address their needs.

                            7. Promotes RushUniversity System for Health clinical services by referring clients to relevant Rush clinics.

                            8. Leverages experience to support team members in training, crisis management, etc. as needed.

                            9. Represents the department at meetings, conferences or other public engagements on an as-needed basis.
