      Summary:

      7.Exercise exceptional customer service skills when communicating with our team members, as well as our internal customers. Finds resolution within the phone interaction satisfactory to the caller and/or having the knowledge when to escalate to their supervisor.
      8.Interacts and collaborates with numerous departments to resolve issues while also analyzing necessary information that will ensure hospital reimbursement. Initiates requests for financial Rush University Medical Center’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.       8.Works closely with Data Management team to review new test forms on various data collection software, including but not limited to Blaise and RedCap and ensures all laptops are up to date with all latest versions of the testing. Responsible for tracking updates as needed.
      9.Maintains systems to track compliance of personnel on additional research training, including Citi Training, Rush Research Portal and Learning Hub training.

    Responsible for training, certification, and annual recertification of all (over 20 total) neuropsychological testers of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center (RADC), to currently include psychometricians of the RADC epidemiologic studies and sub-studies, patient-oriented studies, and Memory Clinic as well as RADC collaborators (over 15 total studies). RADC-collaborative studies. This entails developing expertise in study protocols, creating all training materials and training protocols, and successfully integrating tests into the study fields. Also monitors additional on-line training and certifications required for research compliance.     Required Job Qualifications:
    •Bachelor’s degree or 5 years training experience.
    •At least 2 years experience training at the RADC.

    1.Responsible for all training, certification, and annual recertification of all incoming research assistants (RAs) and clinic assistants on neuropsychological, physical, and interview protocols. Also trains additional personnel in and outside of the RADC to administer neuropsychological tests.
    2.Develops and maintains tracking system for all certifications and recertifications of over 20 testers
    3.Communicates training expectations for staff and provides performance feedback through training and recertification processes. Has direct input into employee progress during probationary period.
    4.Creates and maintains training materials, including certifications, training manuals, practice materials, and other training documents.
    5.Responsible for implementing new testing protocols into the field, including training material creation, battery organization, and tester certifications.
    6.Using knowledge of all current RADC testing protocols, works with PIs and Coordinators to determine testing blocks for new studies, including determination of specific components and order within battery.
    7.Serves as subject matter expert and resource person on cognitive testing and interview protocols for RADC staff, faculty, and external collaborators,, providing ongoing guidance on coding and scoring criteria, working with coordinators to troubleshoot and correct field errors, and providing battery version data for data management. Provides guidance and expertise to Principal Investigators (PIs) and external collaborators on battery changes.
    8.Works closely with Data Management team to review new test forms on various data collection software, including but not limited to Blaise and RedCap and ensures all laptops are up to date with all latest versions of the testing. Responsible for tracking updates as needed.
    9.Maintains systems to track compliance of personnel on additional research training, including Citi Training, Rush Research Portal and Learning Hub training.
    10.Responsible for ordering and calibration of all RA testing supplies. This includes keeping inventory, completing paper or online requisitions, and tracking arrivals and returns.
    11.Off-site travel, and travel outside the metropolitan Chicago area.
