Summary:
The Administrative Director reports to Associate Vice President of System Laboratory Services with a dotted line to the Medical Director, Rush Medical Laboratories (RML). The Administrative Director is responsible for the development, monitoring and leadership of the financial, marketing, information systems and client services policies and procedures of the clinical laboratory. The Administrative Director works closely with the Laboratory Medical Directors, Laboratory Managers and supervisory staff to run the day to day operations of all RML laboratories under their direction. The Administrative Director reports to the the Associate Vice President of System Laboratory and works to implement the strategy for RML across multiple Laboratory locations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the financial aspects of the laboratory, which includes fiscal and flexible budget coordination and preparation; monitor and investigate monthly budget variances; prepare and report internal and peer comparison financial and performance indicators; maintain the charge description master; work closely with Finance to ensure proper billing, accounting, auditing, CPT coding, Medicare/Medicaid billing procedures and protocols are followed.
• Prepares the operating and capital equipment budgets for Laboratory and Pathology Services using input from the Laboratory Manager and reports on departmental activity, financial performance and quality improvement progress as required.
• Makes team members aware of the centers budget, expenses, and utilization of resources and continuously works with team to reduce expenses and improve quality.
• Performs feasibility studies and develops new programs.
• Approves purchased services and check requests and ensures adherence to budgeted levels.

Summary:
The Administrative Director reports to Associate Vice President of System Laboratory Services with a dotted line to the Medical Director, Rush Medical Laboratories (RML). Required Job Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year work related experience operating PBX telephone system attendant consoles or other help desk related position.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Basic analytical ability.
• Good working knowledge of how to operate a PC.
• Ability to handle emergency and emotionally-charged callers.
• Excellent diction and strong customer focus.

• Must work able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
1.Handles calls received on the institution's main telephone number, determines which department or individual would be best suited to handle the caller's needs, and routes the caller to that department or individual.
2.Handles internal calls for assistance, determines the caller's needs, and provides the needed information / service or routes the caller to the appropriate department or individual.
3.Know the functions of the various departments to ensure that callers are routed to the appropriate location.
4.As the first point of contact for most external and internal parties calling the institution ensures that the caller is treated politely and with utmost respect.
5.Provides meet-me paging services as required.
6.Handles emergency calls received from within the institution and notifies the appropriate parties according to established procedures.
7.Answers repair calls received from end users and gathers information to assist in prompt repair.
8.Coordinates internal support to resolve problems.
9.Makes changes to the paging and Tele management system databases as appropriate while maintaining their integrity.
10.Acts as a backup to the other Telecommunications positions when needed.
11.Please Note: The Operator will work at both Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park.

Pay Range: $43.55 - $66.88 per hour

Summary:
Clinical faculty in the Rush University College of Nursing work under the guidance and direction of the course director and the department Associate Chairperson or Chairperson. The educational activities of the clinical faculty member are course-specific. This is an unranked, part-time faculty position. Faculty members function in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Rush University Medical Center and the College of Nursing.

Required Job Qualifications:
• A professional nurse with a minimum of a master's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Specialization at the graduate level specific to the clinical area where the clinical faculty member will teach may be required.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
1.Directs the learning of students in clinical, classroom, and online courses.
2.Plans student assignments as necessary.
3.Evaluates student performance consistent with the course objectives and evaluation criteria.
4.Attends meetings deemed necessary to facilitate the educational program(s) and course objectives.
5.Is knowledgeable about the objectives of the education program and the specific course(s) being taught.
6.Maintains required competencies as determined by Rush University Medical Center and the College of Nursing.
7.Clinical faculty members are appointed by the department Chairperson.
8.Appointments are renewed annually.
9.Compensation is negotiated quarterly based on course assignments.
10.Performance is reviewed regularly by the course director and department Associate Chairperson or Chairperson.
