Job Summary:

11.Responsible for accurately documenting appointment information and notifying the patient of information critical to their visit.
12.Drives and supports the RMG revenue cycle by minimizing potential financial risk of patient accounts through patient insurance registration activities. This includes discussing the patient’s financial responsibility for their upcoming visit, outstanding balances, and referral requirements based on Rush contracts.
13.Effectively completes point of service collections over the phone using secure payment processing systems via multiple payment options, such as credit/debit cards and/or payment plans.
14.Maintains a high level of understanding and acts as a patient resource for physician and ancillary service offerings, navigating the Rush campus, payment categories, and the billing procedures of Rush University Medical Group.
15.Exhibits sensitivity to patient health information and protects confidentiality. Maintains privacy at all times for patient and employee information.

Job Duties: Rush Medical Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Chicago, IL to analyze and evaluate financial data. Support leadership in the analysis and evaluation of tactical and operational components of both existing and potential physician practices. Evaluate physician practice operations, assess contribution to business objectives, and recommend goals. Collaborate with finance leadership, department administrators, and directors in developing ad-hoc reports on productivity, financial variances, operational metrics, and other reporting needs utilizing MS Excel vlookup, pivot tables, and sumifs.
