ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
The Lead APP is a clinical level APP Leader, whose responsibilities include both clinical and administrative duties:
Clinical:
•Assists physicians in performing procedures consistent with the standards of care and practice guidelines, within the Orthopedic Department.
•Provides patient care management for the clinical departments ambulatory and inpatient care units. Reviews history, performs physical assessment, formulates care plans, and follow-up. Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests/imaging, and reviews charts for upcoming appointments and needs.
•Completion of minor procedures including: dressing changes, wound care, wound vac change, suture/staple removal, incision and drainage of surgical site, debridement, splinting, IV insertion, collect/analyze specimens, needle aspiration.
•Provides patient and family with appropriate protocols to follow including as needed, pre-operative and post-operative care and other pertinent education.
•Oversees the entire clinical experience to assure that there is coordination and continuum of patient care plans and execution of those plans to tie the service together. Consults with physicians and/or surgeons regarding the care of patients for more complex diagnosis. Dictates discharge and transfer summaries in a timely manner. Ensures patient discharge is coordinated with social worker, pharmacist, physical therapist, and/or other services as needed.
•Serves as a liaison between clinical and administrative staff, clinical and nursing staff in other departments, and consult services. Responsible for orientation and training of new APPs.
•Collaborates for program development. Maintains, follows, and participates in developing standards of care, clinical pathways, and patient care protocols.

Clinical:

The candidate will join the faculty of our interdisciplinary collaborative academic medical center, and supervise and teach residents, medical students and other trainees. This is a full-time position with academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.
Eligible candidates should be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board certified or eligible and possess a strong clinical background with a broad range of psychiatric disorders. The position is for a general psychiatrist with the allocation of 0. 50 FTE for inpatient psychiatry and 0.50 FTE for outpatient psychiatry. Inpatient duties would include seeing patients in the emergency room, general medical floor, and intensive care setting at RUMC. Candidates should have interest and/or experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry.

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology & Nuclear Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a part-time or full-time Pediatric radiologist at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our well-established department in Chicago, IL. Join a collegial group of 28 sub-specialized radiologists serving Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Rush Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, and numerous outpatient facilities in the Chicagoland area.
Clinical duties include interpreting pediatric x-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations and performing and interpreting pediatric fluoroscopic examinations. Pediatric neuroradiology is not required. The selected candidate will work closely with radiology residents and medical students from Rush Medical College. In addition, the candidate will collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from the pediatrics, pediatric surgery, and pediatric subspecialty services. There are also opportunities to participate in administration, research, hospital committees, and quality initiatives. Equipment includes 10 clinical MRI magnets, 3T research magnet, 12 CT scanners (including dual-energy CT systems), and a state-of-art photon-counting CT.

Summary:
The Work Study Student at a Community Partner Site is responsible for assisting with administrative duties within the clinical setting. These duties may include basic client care, clerical, or administrative work as assigned by the Director of Faculty Practice and/ or the primary clinical site Faculty Practice clinician.
