      Summary:
      The RUSH Access Center Specialist I manages all clinical and non-clinical calls and performs clinic activities including routine and advanced scheduling, basic triage, message taking, and referral management. The RUSH Access Center Specialist I collaborates with Access Center team members and practice staff to meet overall access, revenue cycle and scheduling objectives while exceeding customers’ expectations.       Responsibilities:
      1.Answers all telephone calls within your work assignment as designated by your leadership with the goals of accurately scheduling patients as determined by departmental and Epic guidelines.
      2.Evaluates non-scheduling related patient inquiries including clinical related calls; routes and escalates all inquiries following departmental and epic clinical guidelines inclusive of warm transfers to RN triage and/or to clinics.
      3.Assesses the caller’s need and responds with critical judgment and ensures the appropriate resolution for the inquiry or issue. Understands when to escalate calls to nurse, and/or RUSH Access Center leadership.
      4.Responsible for leveraging Salesforce and Genesys platforms to optimize patient interactions and workflow efficiency. Ensures accurate documentation, routing, and resolution of patient inquiries through integrated systems.
      5.Proactively monitor areas of concern or uncertainty relating to the practices and suggest possible resolutions around access Epic build issues.
      6.Exhibits strong understanding of specialized RUSH Access Center processes including but not limited to questionnaires, subgroups, auto search, pre-registration, message templates, radiology workflows, and referral capture and insurance plan networks.
      7.Adheres to service specialized workflows for multiple specialty departments. Follows protocols built in Epic and documented practices scheduling requirements.
      8.Responsible for accurately documenting appointment information and notifying the patient of information critical to their visit.
      9.Drives and supports the RUSH revenue cycle by minimizing potential financial risk of patient accounts through patient insurance registration activities. This includes but is not limited to discussing the patient’s financial responsibility for their upcoming visit, outstanding balances, and referral requirements based on Rush contracts.
      10.Effectively completes point of service collections over the phone using secure payment processing systems via multiple payment options, such as credit/debit cards and/or payment plans.
      11.Maintains a high level of understanding and acts as a patient resource for physician and ancillary service offerings, navigating the Rush campus, payment categories, and the billing procedures of Rush University.
      12.Exhibits sensitivity to patient health information and protects confidentiality. Always maintains privacy for patient and employee information.

      Summary:
      The System Vice President (System VP) of Surgical and Procedural Services is a senior executive responsible for the strategic vision, operational leadership, and financial performance of all inpatient and ambulatory surgical and procedural services across the health system. This scope includes all hospital operating rooms, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), catheterization labs, endoscopy suites, interventional radiology, and other invasive procedural areas.

      Responsibilities:

      Strategic Leadership and System Growth

      • Partners with Information Technology to ensure the effective use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other systems to support efficient and safe patient care across surgical and procedural platforms systemwide.

      Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience:

      • Fosters a culture of high reliability, championing patient safety and clinical quality as the top priorities.
      • Ensures all surgical and procedural areas are in continuous compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., AAAHC, The Joint Commission, CMS, IDPH).
      • Oversees the development and implementation of quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs, monitoring key clinical outcomes (e.g., surgical site infections, patient-reported outcomes).

      Qualifications:

      Education:

      • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA) or a related field required.
      • Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) highly preferred.

      Experience:

      • Ten (10) years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.
      • Five (5) years of management experience in multiple surgical and/or procedural departments (e.g., Operating Rooms, ASCs, Cath Labs).
      • Prior experience in a multi-site, integrated health system.
      • Proven record of maintaining medical care excellence and achieving performance and financial goals.

      Summary:
      The Clinical Research Coordinator III (CRC III) independently manages the full scope of clinical research study execution for complex, multi-site, or longitudinal protocols. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements, coordinating communication with investigators and sponsors, and resolving operational challenges. The CRC III is distinguished by their ability to work with limited oversight, provide peer mentorship, and serve as a departmental resource. The CRC III guides others in best practices, supports quality improvement efforts, and contributes to a culture of research excellence.

    Summary:
    The Senior Financial Analyst is a senior level (individual contributor) Healthcare Finance position with direct responsibility for aspects of Financial Planning and Analytics, Budgeting, and Forecasting to support various RUSH entities. As an integral member of this team, this Senior Financial Analyst will have autonomy in determining the best and most appropriate approaches to support our constituents. This person should understand the strategic priorities of the organization and how our department’s work supports those priorities.     13.May summarize and share relevant research updates during internal or external presentations; maintains current knowledge of clinical research trends, policies, and best practices.
