All Rush radiation oncology locations hold national accreditation from either the American College of Radiology or APEx, and the department benefits from its distinguished partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center — a key competitive differentiator — as well as Rush's recognition as a top-ranked hospital for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report. With the continued growth of the Rush MD Anderson Cancer Center at Lisle, the department is well-positioned to expand its footprint and capture greater market share in the western region, even as it navigates competitive pressures from other academic centers and works to strengthen its presence in lung, breast, gynecological, and prostate cancer services.
