      Position Highlights:

      · Rush Heart & Vascular’s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges.

      · Join a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers.

      · This position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday–Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.

      · Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

      Qualifications:

      · APRN candidates must hold Acute Care Certification (required).

      · Prior APP experience in Vascular Surgery strongly preferred; relevant RN experience may also be considered.

      Position Requirements:

      Nurse Practitioner:

      • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process

      The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care.         Position Details

        • Rush Medical Group Primary Care offers health care for the entire family from acute illness to chronic medical issues. Our family medicine doctors see patients of all ages — from newborns to seniors.
        • 100% outpatient role with optional inpatient opportunities (if desired).
        • Clinic is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, closed on Sundays.
        • Desirable schedule of 36 patient facing hours per week with 1 evening shift until 7pm and 1 Saturday morning per month.
        • Call responsibility: Each physician takes call after hours one day per week. Weekend call is shared 1:5.

        Summary:

Ability to exercise exceptional customer service skills when communicating with both our patients as well as our internal customers. Able to find resolution within the phone interaction satisfactory to the caller and/or having the knowledge when to escalate to their supervisor.
        • Performs other duties as assigned for the operational effectiveness and success of the department.

        Job Qualifications

          The Department of Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center delivers comprehensive radiation therapy services across four locations — RUMC, ROPH, Lisle, and RCMC — working in close collaboration with oncology and surgical oncology teams to provide patients with integrated, total cancer care.           •Functions as a department expert and performs as a bench testing personnel member along with the duties outlined below.

The new 100-bed facility is a combined critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the Rush University Medical Center campus. The RUSH Specialty Hospital is outfitted with the latest technology and features 44 critical illness recovery and 56 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

          Department/division specs

          · Work alongside three fellow LTACH APPs in collaboration with Rush University Hospitalists and Select Medical.

           

          Duties & Responsibilities:

          · 10-hour or 12-hour shifts. Days only including weekends.

          · Will report directly to the Hospital Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider

          · 100% inpatient

           

          Preferred Qualifications:

          · Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care or related specialty is preferred, not required. Relevant RN experience may be considered.

          · APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification.

          Nurse Practitioner:

            Join our team as an Epic Application Analyst – Professional Billing (PB) and play a critical role in supporting and optimizing key Revenue Cycle operations. In this position, you will design, build, and enhance Epic Professional Billing (PB / Resolute PB) applications that drive accurate charge capture, claims processing, reimbursement, and denial reduction.

            As an Epic PB Analyst, you will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and deliver Epic build, configuration, and system enhancements.
