The Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who is responsible for providing clinical care for patients and coordination of services provided by APPs in his/her section of their department. This includes recruitment and onboarding, training and performance oversight, professional development and day-to-day operations and troubleshooting for this group of providers. This individual should be given protected administrative time and may also be responsible for scheduling, alignment of department quality & safety initiatives, research coordination and development of department policies and procedures as they pertain to APPs. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. Position Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide all aspects of care including acute care, well care and chronic care in the urgent care setting for patients of all ages.
Nurse Practitioner:
•Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse

This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. The Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who is responsible for providing clinical care for patients and coordination of services provided by APPs in his/her section of their department. This includes recruitment and onboarding, training and performance oversight, professional development and day-to-day operations and troubleshooting for this group of providers.
