      Summary:

      Rush is looking for an Enterprise End User Technology Engineer to help architect and elevate our enterprise endpoint environment. In this role, you’ll design and maintain standardized device configurations, automate deployments, and support secure, reliable end-user technology across Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android, and enterprise print platforms.

      You’ll work hands-on with SCCM/MECM, Azure Intune, Jamf, PowerShell, Active Directory, MFA tools, ServiceNow, and A/V systems, serving as the final escalation point for complex device, driver, registry, and log-level issues. A key part of the role includes managing security updates, patch compliance, and device lifecycle best practices.

      You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to drive continuous improvement, strengthen endpoint security, and enhance the overall user experience across the organization.

      Responsibilities

      • Strong understanding of enterprise print services and management tools.

      Summary:
      The Study Counselor supports an NIH-funded smoking cessation trial that will test new treatment strategies for ‘practice quitting’ among individuals who are not yet ready to quit. The study has a 5-year timeline and will involve delivering treatment and assessing changes in smoking status among a nationwide sample of 780 participants. The Study Counselor will deliver ‘Practice Quitting’ and Motivational Interviewing counseling, with all sessions conducted via phone or videoconference. The position allows the opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days per week with manager approval. The position periodically requires some evening or weekend hours to reach participants during their preferred time for study counseling.       Under the supervision and in collaboration with board-certified gastroenterologists, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers high-quality care to patients with digestive health concerns. This role is ideal for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) looking for a Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU) type position.  

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • The primary responsibility includes managing the patient’s immediate post-operative recovery, ensuring they are stable and comfortable while monitoring vital signs, pain levels and complications
      • Other job responsibilities include inpatient follow ups and outpatient clinic.
      • Monday – Friday: 7:00am-5:00 PM; 40 hours of patient-facing care per week. No weekends, holidays, or on call required.

       

      Qualifications:

      · Experience of 2 years or more of previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Gastroenterology, Surgery, Intensive Care is required for this role.

      · APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification

       Clinical Care & Assessment 

      · Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical exams focused for pre procedure care.

      · Recover patients from interventional GI procedures with ability to manage post procedure complications

      · Assist attending physician with outpatient clinic.

      · Conduct rounds on inpatients with GI diseases like acute pancreatitis and its complications, choledocholithiasis and other biliary diseases, and post procedure follow ups

      · Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, pathology, and imaging.

      · Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines.

      Patient Education & Advocacy

      · Educate patients and families on GI conditions, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.

      · Promote shared decision-making and informed consent.

      · Refer patients to community resources and support groups as needed.

      Care Coordination & Continuity

      · Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.

      · Provide follow-up care and monitor chronic GI conditions.

       Position Requirements:

        11.Performs nebulizer treatments in the clinic setting after competency has been assessed, verified and documented.
        12.Performs Tuberculin skin testing upon the order of the Physician.
        13.Demonstrates appropriate population specific techniques with patients.
        14.Documents administration of over-the-counter medications and/or other medications in Epic per policy or protocol.
        15.Cleans, prepares and stocks exam rooms, treatment rooms, and workstations.
        16.Calls patients regarding test results and medical instruction under the direction of a Physician.
        17.Calls in medication refills under the direction of a Physician or protocol.
        18.Documents patient care information in the outpatient medical record according to standards.
        19.Assists with scheduling of patient tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
        20.Assists in the care, cleaning, and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
        21.Maintains the inventory of medical and linen supplies.
        22.Maintains quality control for equipment.
        23.Provides cross coverage to other clinical areas as assigned.
        24.Participates in quality improvement projects.
        25.Maintains compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and other regulatory bodies.
        26.May have Unit specific duties as needed.
