      Summary:
      The Employee Health Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) employees, contract employees and non-employee groups, with a focus on occupational health.       Responsibilities:
      1.Completes required new employee/contractor and volunteer screening including screening for TB, Hepatitis B, MMR and varicella, as well as other applicable immunizations. Communicates clearance process and updates with Human Resources/Recruitment or hiring manager.
      2.Provides safe, competent and efficient nursing care for minor and acute injuries and illnesses via protocols and medical directives.
      3.Evaluate and complete sick calls, following the appropriate necessary referrals, return to work approval protocols and employee education.
      4.Performs blood/body fluid exposures, infection control/communicable diseases exposure treatment and follow up per protocol.

      7.Completes all COVID Team duties, including COVID test result notification, documentation, intake and return to work with proficiency in all Epic functionality (e.g., result pools, dashboard, encounter documentation)
      8.Serves as Tier 2 escalation from Employee Service Center (ESC) to triage and resolve escalated clinical cases in ServiceNow or via phone warm-transfer within the established turnaround times
      9.Participates in preventive screening programs (e.g. TB surveillance, influenza vaccines, Hepatitis B, MMR, varicella and other appropriate immunizations) designed to identify and monitor risks to the employee’s health.
      10.Documents all employee visits thoroughly and accurately in Cority, Epic and/or other designated documents.
      11.Assists in the coordination of annual fit testing of N95 masks.
      12.Collaborates with other members of the health care team for the purpose of assessing, directing and evaluating treatment approaches, and improving the quality of care given.
      13.Utilizes resources to effectively resolve conflict and improve team relationships in support of a healthy work environment.

      Position Highlights:

      · Rush Heart & Vascular’s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges.

      · Join a highly collaborative Electrophysiology program comprised of 6 electrophysiologists and a dedicated team of 4 Advanced Practice Providers supporting a dynamic and expanding service line.

      · Work alongside a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team across multiple practice locations, including Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital, South Loop, River North, Oak Brook, and Northwest Indiana.

      · Participate in the continued growth and expansion of the outpatient and inpatient Electrophysiology APP service.

       Responsibilities:

      · This position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday-Friday four 10-hour shift schedule. No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.

      · Management of inpatient electrophysiology patients, including overnight EP admissions and post-procedural care.

      · Care coordination and monitoring for same-day discharge of post-ablation patients.

      · Evaluation and management of device-related admissions and electrophysiology consults.

        Pay Range: $63.10 - $94.02 per hour

        Summary:
        The Director of Diagnostics will be working under the direction of the Vice President of Radiology Operations and has responsibility and accountability for the efficient and effective administration of imaging services within Rush University Medical Center and affiliated outpatient facilities. The Director is responsible for assuring a collaborative partnership with the academic, medical practice and corporate programs in Rush University Medical Center in ways that demonstrate support for the corporation’s mission, and vision. The Director models the Rush values, acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures, and holds others accountable for meeting standards which may be informed by industry best practices or may be regulatory in nature. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

        Required Job Qualifications:
        •Bachelor of Science or relevant degree; and / or Masters in accredited Radiology program (preferred)
        •3 - 5 years’ experience in progressively more responsible, imaging leadership positions
        •Experience in an academic healthcare setting
        •Established reputation as a leader in healthcare management
        •Knowledge of regulatory accrediting agency standards
        •Based on the particular portfolio, additional experience or academic credentials in key administrative or clinical areas may be required.

        Responsibilities:
        •Within imaging, this role provides leadership with a focus on performance excellence for: Quality & safety, Work culture, Patient & visitor satisfaction, and financial results.
        •Establishes the administrative structure for the respective administrative portfolio under the close supervision of the VP.
        •Guides annual goal setting for the department.
        •In partnership with the Strategic Planning Department, develops, implements, and monitors institutional plans aligned with imaging.
        •Facilitates operational collaboration and process alignment across the Rush system with a focus on performance improvement, access, and growth.
        •Assures a high-quality work environment for staff and physicians and promotes a positive, collaborative culture with other disciplines and functions in the department.
        •Maintains work environment that meets departmental and regulatory requirements; has a working knowledge of EPIC and PACS.
        •Provides leadership for implementation of an effective and on-going program to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and appropriateness of service and care delivered to patients in the department.
        •Assures a common standard of service and care throughout the administrative portfolio.
        •Maintains licensure/registry status as determined by state or regulatory bodies.
        •Oversees the recruitment and staffing plan that ensures the continuous and timely availability of services to patients.
        •Responsible for personnel management, including performance review and development
        •Assures an environment that supports Rush’s commitment to education, participating in educational programs as assigned from time to time.
        •Provides leadership and resources for evidence-based practice, clinical investigation and demonstration programs.
        •Represents the institution to appropriate internal and external groups.
