      Summary:
      The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a key member of the Rush University System for Health community.       Summary:
      The Clinical Practice Consultant RN, is an informal nurse leader responsible for maintaining and improving clinical operations and quality of care for the Rush Medical Group (RMG).
      This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care which requires a combination of clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of quality improvement methodologies.       25.Removes all items from the top of the cabinets upon completion of the case load in the assigned rooms. Ensures all equipment is cleaned upon completion of case load and returned to their proper storage areas for assigned rooms.
      26.Restocks nursing supplies as needed at the completion of the case load.
      27.Cleans nursing desk drawers and removes all extraneous items.
      28.Returns lead gowns to assigned spaces in assigned rooms.
      29.Begins preparation for following days patients by ensuring all required items are available and in the room, including appropriate operating room tables, positioning devices, lead aprons and other standardized items as identified by the specialty staff.
      30.Assists circulating RN during activation of the Major Blood Loss Protocol by manning the tube station.

    Summary:
    The Clinical Practice Consultant RN, is an informal nurse leader responsible for maintaining and improving clinical operations and quality of care for the Rush Medical Group (RMG).
    This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care which requires a combination of clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of quality improvement methodologies.     Physical Demands:

    4.Pick up and deliver needed items as requested including medications from the pharmacy, satellites or blood center as needed in support of OR Transport Services.
    5.Acquire supplies and equipment required to assist in the delivery of patient care as needed.
    6.Order and restock supplies located in support tech work area.
    7.Monitor blanket warmer in sterile core and OR rooms.
    8.Notify dispatch supervisor if additional supplies are needed.
    9.Restock warmer as needed to provide for patient warmth.
    10.Assist in the maintenance of clutter-free operating rooms and corridors.
    11.Remove all equipment which is blocking access to fire doors, electrical panels or air flow vents in all areas of the Operating Room.

    24.Docks all suction devices upon completion of case load in assigned rooms or on request of the nursing staff. Cleans inside of storage cabinets including damp dusting and rearranging of stock.
    25.Removes all items from the top of the cabinets upon completion of the case load in the assigned rooms. Ensures all equipment is cleaned upon completion of case load and returned to their proper storage areas for assigned rooms.
    26.Restocks nursing supplies as needed at the completion of the case load.
    27.Cleans nursing desk drawers and removes all extraneous items.
    28.Returns lead gowns to assigned spaces in assigned rooms.
    29.Begins preparation for following days patients by ensuring all required items are available and in the room, including appropriate operating room tables, positioning devices, lead aprons and other standardized items as identified by the specialty staff.
    30.Assists circulating RN during activation of the Major Blood Loss Protocol by manning the tube station.
    31.Ensures blood is removed from the Operating Room blood kiosks following completion of surgical procedures in assigned rooms.

    Responsibilities:
    Job Responsibilities:
    •Teach assigned courses including lectures, labs, and practical instruction as applicable.
    •Develop and maintain course content in alignment with current accreditation standards and best practices in health sciences education.
    •Design instructional materials, assessments, and learning activities to support student outcomes.
    •Provide academic advising and mentorship to students throughout the program.
    •Participate in student recruitment and admissions activities, including interview days and information sessions.
    •Serve on program, college, or university committees assigned.
    •Contribute to curriculum improvement and course evaluation efforts.
    •Engage in professional development to remain current in the field and with instructional methods.
    •Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair or Program Director.
