      Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
      This is a per diem position with staffing contingent on the needs of the department. Days and hours of work are not guaranteed. Per diem individuals will be notified of shifts available for pickup by the pharmacy technician operations coordinator or leadership team. Per diem individuals must pick up at least 2 shifts each month to remain active per diem staff.

      Responsibilities:
      • Performs specialized Inpatient Pharmacy work in the organization Inpatient Pharmacy areas such as in the following areas: IV compounding, Chemotherapy, OR pharmacy or Pediatrics.
      • Maintain or establish fundamental knowledge and understanding in the following areas:
      a. Basic Pharmacy Knowledge:
      i. Recognizes and identifies various classifications of medications, medication names, dosage forms and routes of administration.
      ii. Ability to appropriately label all medication dosage forms including auxiliary labels for expiration and storage as required.
      iii. Responsible for the accurate interpretation of EPIC pharmacy labels:
      i. Interpretation and understanding of medical abbreviations.
      ii.Identification and differentiation of different types of medication orders (Scheduled, PRN, Once, STAT, NOW).
      iv. Performs pharmaceutical calculations accurately, including fundamental math calculations, metric conversions, and pharmaceutical dose calculations.
      b. Regulatory:

      Summary:

      Summary:

      Rush University Medical Center’s Road Home Program: The National Center of Excellence for Veterans and Their Families (RHP) is dedicated to assisting and supporting current service members (active duty, reserve, and national guard), veterans, and their families with effective clinic services focused on treating mental health diagnoses. All services are provided at no out of pocket cost to the client. RHP has an outpatient clinic that provides in-person and virtual services such as individual, couples, family, child, and group psychotherapy as well as medication management and neuropsychological testing. RHP also specializes in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) utilizing a 2-week in-person intensive outpatient therapy program (IOP) for service members and veterans from across the U.S. as well as a virtual accelerated treatment option for those with barriers to in person attendance. RHP provides these services in collaboration with existing veteran and service member organizations.

      The intake clinician will primarily conduct intake assessments for adults interested in attending the IOP. IOP intake assessments are generally conducted virtually (phone or video) and consist of a biopsychosocial clinical intake assessment, Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS), and Diagnostic Interview for Anxiety, Mood, and OCD and Related Neuropsychiatric Disorders (DIAMOND) assessment as needed. The intake clinician will also conduct medical record reviews and staff cases with an interdisciplinary team. Furthermore, the clinician will have the opportunity to provide weekly therapy services. The clinician will work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other members of RHP’s multidisciplinary team.       The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) is an entry-level, pathways position that provides foundational support to clinical research teams.     Summary:

    Rush University Medical Center’s Road Home Program: The National Center of Excellence for Veterans and Their Families (RHP) is dedicated to assisting and supporting current service members (active duty, reserve, and national guard), veterans, and their families with effective clinic services focused on treating mental health diagnoses. All services are provided at no out of pocket cost to the client. RHP has an outpatient clinic that provides in-person and virtual services such as individual, couples, family, child, and group psychotherapy as well as medication management and neuropsychological testing. RHP also specializes in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) utilizing a 2-week in-person intensive outpatient therapy program (IOP) for service members and veterans from across the U.S. as well as a virtual accelerated treatment option for those with barriers to in person attendance. RHP provides these services in collaboration with existing veteran and service member organizations.

    The intake clinician will primarily conduct intake assessments for adults interested in attending the IOP. IOP intake assessments are generally conducted virtually (phone or video) and consist of a biopsychosocial clinical intake assessment, Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS), and Diagnostic Interview for Anxiety, Mood, and OCD and Related Neuropsychiatric Disorders (DIAMOND) assessment as needed. The intake clinician will also conduct medical record reviews and staff cases with an interdisciplinary team. Furthermore, the clinician will have the opportunity to provide weekly therapy services. The clinician will work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other members of RHP’s multidisciplinary team.     7.Regularly and proactively conducts HR compliance audits, assesses and identifies areas of potential risk or documentation deficiencies, and implements and leads process improvements and corrective actions where necessary. Provides audit results and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data and findings.
    8.Partners with Procurement and Legal to review HR vendor agreements for compliance requirements and risk management, including all contingent worker and/or contractor agreements.
    9.Maintains an understanding of regulatory issues and stays current on applicable standards through seminars, training courses and regulatory literature.
    10.Coordinates with the Office of Legal Affairs and HR COEs to maintain alignment with legal and operational standards.
    11.Assists the Office of Institutional Equity with OFCCP compliance initiatives, including the Affirmative Action Plan and related activities.
    12.Partners with Digital & Information Services teams to ensure HR data privacy and compliance.
    13.Develops process maps, governance documents, and knowledge resources to ensure operational consistency.

    Required Job Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
    2. 3-5 years of experience in HR policy development, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
    3. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
    4. Strong working knowledge of employment laws, labor standards, and compliance frameworks.
    5. Experience in policy authorship, legal research, and regulatory interpretation.
    6. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    7. Ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing digital policy systems.
    Preferred Job Qualifications:
    1. Juris Doctor (JD) or advanced degree in a related field.
    2. Experience with PolicyTech.
    3. Experience managing compliance in a hospital system.

    Summary:
    The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) is an entry-level, pathways position that provides foundational support to clinical research teams. Under close supervision, the CRA assists with essential study tasks such as organizing regulatory files, entering participant information, preparing materials for study visits, and observing study procedures for training. This role supports minimal to moderate risk studies, including exempt or expedited protocols, and is not assigned to clinical trials. The CRA gains exposure to research coordination through guided hands-on experience, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and team collaboration. This position serves as a learning opportunity for those interested in growing into independent clinical research roles.     Job Responsibilities:
    1.Assists with participant scheduling, reminder calls, and general tracking under supervision. May observe consent conversations or study visits with training.
    2.Collects and enters non-clinical data (e.g., demographics, visit logs) into data tracking tools or EDC systems under supervision; may help scan or organize forms.
    3.Supports submission packet assembly and document routing for IRB or regulatory submissions under the direction of CRC I or II; not authorized to submit independently.
    4.Files study documents, maintains logs (e.g., training, screening), and assists with organization of source documentation in binders or shared drives.
    5.Not involved in specimen collection. May assist with labeling, inventory, or shipment preparation under CRC supervision.
    6.May observe assessments for training; assists with room setup, form preparation, or equipment handoff before and after participant encounters.
    7.Drafts basic emails, participant reminders, or visit confirmations; communicates updates to CRC team but not to sponsors or IRBs.
    8.Maintains file accuracy for audit readiness; supports CRCs in preparing monitoring visit materials. May take notes during visits.
    9.Not responsible for reporting safety events but may help gather timeline data or document history under guidance.
    10.Participates in routine team meetings; may suggest logistical improvements based on daily task experience.
