      Rush University System for Health and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center have partnered to create RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center. The partnership represents advanced clinical and operational integration in the delivery of cancer care, providing Rush patients greater access to cancer treatments and research considered among the best in the world.

      Leadership Responsibilities:

      • Provide strategic, innovative, and operational leadership for the Division.
      • Ensure accountability for clinical and academic performance within the Department of Internal Medicine.
      • Collaborate with the Department Chairperson and Cancer Center Director to develop a vision for maintaining and growing clinical, educational, and research programs.

      Talent Management:

      • Champion talent acquisition, professional development, and retention efforts for the Division and RUSH-MD Anderson Cancer Center, including its regional sites.
      • Mentor faculty, trainees, and medical students.

      Program Development:

      • Develop strategic interdisciplinary teams to advance research.
      • Maintain and grow clinical, educational, and research programs.

      Qualifications:

      • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution
      • Board certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
      • Valid Illinois medical license or ability to obtain licensure
      • Credentials meriting appointment as Professor.
      • Strong record of collaborative leadership and commitment to excellence in clinical, research, and academic service.
      • Demonstrated commitment to innovation.
      • Leadership skills to guide faculty development and advancement across research, clinical, and academic missions.
