      1.Minimum of 9 months of experience in nursing
      2.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) .
      3.Within 1 year from the date of hire, employee must be enrolled in a BSN program.
      4.RNs hired prior to 10/22/2020 are grandfathered in with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or diploma in nursing, with no further need to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BAN or BSN).
      5.Chief Nursing Officer must provide approval for any RNs with ADN degree hired after 10/22/2020, based upon unit need.       General Summary:

      The Endoscopy Technician III works under the direction of a physician, department leadership, and/or registered nurse. Provides support to the Endoscopy department before, during and after procedures. This role will serve as a resource, coach, and preceptor for other Endoscopy Technicians at RUMC while performing the duties of disinfecting endoscopic equipment, assisting physicians with the technical components of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as assigned.       6.Demonstrates accurate cleaning and disinfecting procedures for all endoscopes and accessory equipment that adheres to Infection Control Guidelines and equipment manufacturer instructions for use.
      7.Reports equipment malfunctions to either charge nurse or unit leadership and ensures the scope tracking process is maintained within the scope tracking program (SPM).
      8.Reports to Charge RN or designee for assignment of duties and sets priority of duties based on needs of patient and unit, under the direction of the RN.

    Physical Demands:
    This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

    Responsibilities:
    •In cooperation with the Executive Director of Major and Principal Gifts, the President of ROPH other ROPH leadership, central Marketing and Communications, Governance, and all other philanthropy work-units, design and implement ROPH’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, aligned with system-wide priorities.

    •Partner closely with the Annual Giving and Marketing and Communications teams to determine and implement data-driven strategies to build a base of donors with the goal of retaining and upgrading giving.
    •Partner with the Planned Giving Team, as opportunities arise.
    •Launch and manage a grateful patient philanthropy program, including staff and physician engagement, training, and referral systems, partnering closely with existing clinical fundraisers.
    •Engage with ROPH Board members and community leaders in early cultivation and advocacy efforts.
    •Develop and coordinate donor events, tours, and community engagement opportunities tailored to the Oak Park area.
    •Prepare major gift proposals, impact reports, and tailored donor communications.
    •Track progress against metrics, including donor portfolio growth, visits, solicitations, and revenue.
    •Contribute to building an internal culture of philanthropy within ROPH by partnering with staff at all levels

    Summary:

    Summary:
    Chaplains facilitate spiritual well-being by assisting patients, families, staff and the wider community to cope and identify sources of meaning and hope in their experience of life transitions, inclusive of suffering, loss and grief, by drawing upon their values and beliefs in the context of their life story. When on-call: chaplain provides for the spiritual needs of patients and families with medical emergencies that occur outside staff chaplain’s regular hours. The chaplain will cover weekends on a rotation bases. The chaplain will respond to the pager immediately. He or she may stay overnight at the hospital but is not required to do so.
