      Responsibilities:

      • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring.
      • Serves as a lead resource in the evaluation, acquisition, and implementation of clinical information systems.

      Required Job Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications.
      • An Associate Degree and nine (9) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
      • Experience defining clinical and operating requirements, and translate requirements into clear, specific, actionable system configurations, and the ability to implement those configurations.
      • Ability to test and audit personally developed system configurations, in order to assure functional accuracy.
      • Knowledge of systems implementation which may include analysis, specification design, and implementation.
      • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
      • Relationship, teamwork, and project management skills.

      Summary:

      Responsibilities:
      Performs Laboratory Testing
      Utilizes required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by the lab area. Labels and processes specimens properly.       Quality Control and Preventative Maintenance

    Employees in this job classification are qualified to perform moderate and high complexity testing. Employees' education and/or laboratory experience meet the requirements delineated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment of 1996.

    Responsibilities:
    Performs Laboratory Testing
    Utilizes required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by the lab area. Labels and processes specimens properly. Performs all laboratory procedures efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision once trained. All testing must be done following Rush approved Policies and Procedures.
    Quality Control and Preventative Maintenance
    Performs required quality control (QC) procedures and preventative maintenance, including corrective action and documentation, for all procedures and instrumentation. Recognizes QC problems or discrepancies and attempts to determine the cause of problem. Notifies appropriate supervisor or designee regarding QC problems or discrepancies according to the established procedure.
    Troubleshooting
    Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment and processes with minimal assistance, documents action and notifies appropriate personnel, for example, supervisors, of problems all the time. Able to recognize when additional help is needed and seeks out that help.
    Organization of Work Area
    Keeps the work area neat, clean, organized, and always stocked. Disinfects area at the beginning and end of each shift.
    Specimen Acceptability
    Accepts no inappropriate specimens. Notifies appropriate person of specimens that must be drawn or collected again and documents the notification.
    Turnaround Time Expectations
    Meets turnaround time expectations by prioritizing and organizing the workload for the shift. Monitors the pending list periodically to ensure turnaround time of all samples.
    Time Management
    Utilizes time effectively and seeks out additional job duties when shift tasks are complete. Completes work without incurring overtime. Assists fellow workers to finish shift tasks. Adheres to the defined allotted time for breaks and lunch.
    Continuing Education
    Required to obtain and document 12 hours of laboratory continuing education per year.
    Special Projects
    Accepts and/or volunteers for method evaluations and new procedure development or other special projects and completes them within an agreed upon time frame. Participates in procedure implementation and training of new staff and students. Encouraged to identify and participate in process improvement projects.
    Tech-in-Charge
    May perform the duties of the tech-in- charge for specified periods of time. Oversee operations according to departmental guidelines. Understands when to defer issues to appropriate personnel, for example a supervisor or director, and does so.
    Report Reviewing and Results Reporting
    Reviews lab results as required and takes appropriate action before verification and release. Recognizes and calls critical results within defined time frames. Reviews paper generated results and transcribes accurately into the Lab Information System.

    Summary:
    The successful candidate will provide clinical, regulatory, and technical instrumentation support for diagnostic imaging equipment in their area of expertise under the direction of the Division Head of Diagnostic Medical Physics. The candidate will be responsible for meeting the requirements of general daily operations and complying with regulatory and accrediting body requirements for the modality to which their training and credentialing applies. In addition, the candidate will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

    •PhD or MS degree in Medical Physics or similar field.

    •Board certification by the American Board of Radiology or other applicable specialty board.

    Responsibilities:
    1.Performs quality assurance testing, acceptance and accreditation testing of equipment located at Rush. All testing will be in accordance with Illinois Emergency Management Agency regulations and regulatory or accrediting body requirements (ACR, TJC, etc).
    2.Maintains and establishes, when applicable, ACR accreditation of imaging equipment
    3.Establishes, maintains and oversees a quality control program designed to ensure continuous quality improvement at Rush. Quality control programs will be consistent with established regulatory and accrediting body standards.
    4.Assists with identifying and procuring test equipment required for quality control programs and systems testing and performance evaluation.
    5.Performs quarterly quality control reviews and prepares trend analysis and reports.
    6.Assists radiology staff with general protocol optimization, including proper equipment use.
    7.Investigates complaints on image quality; follows through on complaint resolution; and documents solution. Collaboration with section leadership to institute corrections.
    8.Assists with commissioning of new imaging systems and support equipment.
    9.Supports clinical procedures within the Department of Diagnostic Services.
    10.Participates in basic, applied, or translational research.
    11.Provides scientific leadership in their field of expertise, mentors faculty and trainees, establishes collaborations with Rush faculty and partners, and assists investigators with data analysis, interpretation, and publication of results.
    12.Participates in ongoing physics education of Radiology Residents according to the curriculum established by the division head
    13.May perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Division Head.

    Summary:
    The Retail Supervisor oversees retail and catering operations to meet revenue, expense, and customer satisfaction targets. Is responsible for adequately training staff to organize the daily food operations effectively and efficiently for Rush Oak Park Hospital. Coordinates with the manager on activities to ensure operational continuity and service standards. Oversees all cash handling and retail compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, department quality monitors and targets and corporate and departmental policies and procedures. Develops and implements concepts for Catering, Cafeteria, and other retail venues using trend analysis, culinary skills, and financial management principles. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

    •Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food Service Systems or five or more years of relevant experience in a leadership capacity in foodservice operations.

    Required Job Qualifications:
    1.Entry Level - no previous RN experience required
    2.Current state of Illinois Registered Nursing License
    3.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (with acceptance into an accredited school of nursing prior to hire).
    *Within 1 year from the date of hire, employee must be enrolled in a BSN program.
    4.RNs hired prior to 10/22/2020 are grandfathered in with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in nursing, with no further need to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BAN or BSN).
    5.Chief Nursing Officer must provide approval for any RNs with ADN degree hired after 10/22/2020, based upon unit need. ADN RNs hired after 10/22/2020 must show continued enrolment towards a BSN degree with a signature of contract stipulating a BSN degree must be completed within 3 years of hire. ADN RNS are not eligible for leveling to RN3.
    6.Current CPR Certification
    7.ACLS within 1 year of hire for ICU, Telemetry, 6west, Endoscopy, PACU, IR, and ED
    8.PALS within 1 year of hire for PACU and ED

    • Work requires the ability to walk throughout the medical center and to be standing and walking most of the designated shift.
