      Medicine-Pediatrics – Clinical Faculty/Physician

      The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Medicine-Pediatrics, at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join our clinical faculty at Rush’s on-campus outpatient clinic located in downtown Chicago.

      Position Details

        • Outpatient-focused practice
        • Serve a diverse and complex patient population in Chicago
        • Faculty appointment at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level (commensurate with experience)
        • Access to a full range of Internal Medicine and Pediatric subspecialties and comprehensive on-site diagnostic services
        • The practice provides a supportive environment with established systems and a team of 3 Medicine-Pediatrics faculty physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Provide comprehensive care to patients across the entire lifespan, from newborns through geriatric patients and end-of-life care
        • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in both pediatric and adult populations
        • Collaborate with physician colleagues, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
        • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, scholarly activity, and practice development
        • ·Contribute to the academic mission of the Medical College through clinical teaching and mentorship

        Qualifications

        • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution
        • Completion of an accredited Medicine-Pediatrics residency program
        • Board-eligible or Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
        • Valid IL medical license or ability to obtain licensure
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

        Pay Range: $254,600 – $322,000
