Summary:
The physical therapist provides safe and effective physical therapy services including the evaluation of physical performance ability to persons impaired by physical illness or injury, congenital or developmental disability and /or the aging process. Emergency Medicine – Advanced Practice Provider

 Rush Oak Park Hospital 

Oak Park, IL 

Rush Oak Park Hospital, in Oak Park, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, invites application for the position of Advanced Practice Provider.  

•With an annual volume of more than 47,000 patients, the Emergency Department is well-staffed with an average of 58 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of mid-level provider coverage daily.

 •The newly built emergency room was opened in October 2019 has 22 private rooms, and 10 Fast Track treatment areas. 

•Our affiliation with Rush University Medical Center allows for easy transfers of patients requiring tertiary care. Rush Oak Park Hospital is conveniently located 10 miles from downtown Chicago and in a desirable residential neighborhood. 

•Schedule: this role will function on a rotating 10-hour schedule alongside twenty full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians and two fellow Advanced Practice Providers. Night shifts are not currently required but may be added as needed. Two weekends (four shifts) per four-week block are required.
